Does it bother you? I have a semi famous DH, he gets paid to gig and go on podcasts etc if we go out locally he does get asked for selfies so we tend to go away for weekends as a family.

I do find it slightly annoying but I guess it pays the bills 💃

Fairly vacuous nonsense really.

Not famous. But very well known in our town. Its a bit annoying when you just want to get the groceries and everyone and their cat wants to stop and chat. But it's OK. Not famous though. Don't think I could cope with that.

I don't. Thankfully. I wouldn't want people to think I got my value from who I married.

My FIL used to be a local councillor so was often stopped by people to complain about bins/parking/grass verges. 😂

My dh has a very famous cousin and they look alike. When we were younger, he used to get asked for photos and autographs all the time cos people thought he was his cousin. So no, but we got a taste for the high life ha ha

Famous friends and it really pisses me off. I normally jump in with the offer to take a photo really quickly so FF can do the lovely to meet you hug hug goodbye dance and we can back to dinner/drinking/chatting. Couldn’t handle it with a famous hubby.

No I do not, thankfully. Don't really understand the fawning over famous people, they are just a person -same as me 🤷🏼 I'd likely find the attention extremely boring, annoying if I was the famous one. I think I'd deny it and say 'nooooo, this happens all the time, I just look like them'

I almost did, my ex is world famous, it was fine, people rarely bothered him, and if they did most were nice. Odd ‘fans’ tend to be online, so unless you read their barmy comments you wouldn’t know they’re jealous etc. He is also a bit of a hermit as well, which reduced people approaching us out and about. We’re still very good friends, he stayed with us recently and wasn’t approached by anyone when out and about which was nice.

Yes my DH is a movie star. It's quite the life. SO busy and hectic for months at a time, but his money gives us a wonderful life.

Enjoy it while it lasts. I have a friend who is married to a bloke who was a regular in a show which was on telly through the 90s and early 00s. He’s a total has-been now, hasn’t worked in over 10 years other than a couple of episodes of Casualty, barely anyone recognizes him anymore and she’s been having to support him ever since.
