That's a shame, I remember meeting Katie in a bar on a Spanish Island back when she was with Dane Bowers. They were sat right near us and she was really lovely to us, Dane was horrible though.

Yeah, I do feel for her, she's been through so much awful stuff. At school though she was really hateful towards other girls and very nice to the lads. It's sad, she was desperate for attention from boys and very jealous/competitive of the girls. Its clearly about insecurity though and her own quite significant MH issues

That would make sense from things that happened (well what we see on as spectators). I mean this is just assumption and I don't know for a fact, but me and my friends thought Dane seemed to really overbear her and perhaps she was used to the girls fawning over him and when we just thought he looked unapproachable (and weren't fans anyway) so we spoke to her instead while he had girls going over trying to get his attention. Maybe that was a factor in that scenario.

I dated someone who was on Big Brother and then got big on YouTube. They then were accused of quite serious allegations. I never followed what ended up happening but apparently they are rebuilding their career and are big on social media again

Not as such, but any 70's babies might remember a group called Flintlock. Mike Holloway was the really cute one in the band and he was also in The Tomorrow People. Him and his band mates went to my high school but when I was in primary his sister was my best friend. I remember seeing him outside school when he picked her up and almost wet myself with excitement! I was only about 7.

This is in a different country but in my year (who I did not know) there was a beautiful girl who happened to be obese. She was pretty much bullied out of the school and went on to not only be a plus sized model but now owns her own plus sized modelling agency and is very successful in my home country.

Makes me smile when I see her name around.

Attended boarding school.
1 year above me, same boarding house, daughter of a very, very well known billionaire.
She didn’t have to share a dorm and had her own room all the way through school (usually reserved only for 6th form girls)
Bodyguard (female) in the adjoining room to her in the house. None of the other girls were ever introduced to the bodyguard which I always thought was very odd.
i didn’t really click or become friends with this billionaire’s daughter - her main interests were smoking behind tuck shop, whereas I was a bit of a swot. Notably she carried an expensive IT bag (can’t remember what), and wore makeup with uniform, but didn’t particularly find her snobby etc. I did like her, found her to be similar to many of the girls at school. But the baseline was off as international boarding school.
She did once arrive at school in a helicopter though.

If you were to have met her as a 15year old you would not have foreseen the extremely high glamour person she is an adult.

Yes I did a pop star, I think he’s remained relatively grounded and been successful. Still lives in our home city although the nicer parts and bought his family houses too.

I’m not going to name her directly but her father was a house hold name, and I suppose perhaps infamous even, in the UK in 90s and early 00s, and had very good reason for a bodyguard.

a reasonably famous footballer shouted across the school field “ Quickcutter I want to go out with you”, I was 13, and very shy, so I kept out of his way, he was two years older.

he went on to play for some biggish clubs, my mum knows his mum so she loves passing on snippets of gossip, I still cringe.

1970’s we had one in our school but he was just leaving as I arrived. I think there were a good few of them.
