i remember years ago before William was even married, that the DM ran a story with a photo of Kate wearing bunny ears and dancing. Shortly after the DM took it down. I was in Australia so might have been done at a time everyone was sleeping in UK. Definitely happened though and was never reposted. There’s a photo online of her wearing bunny ears - I think it was at an army barracks party.

I think they have huge control over the DM. Most of the DM royal stories are by Journalists that have spent years sucking up & salivate over the royals in return for crumbs. The DM is basically a press office for the royals which is why I think what Sussexes said holds water. Had the royals wanted them protected & looked after bt the DM, they’d have got that.
