Let's just rid the world of sprouts

I know MN love pretending that they like them. But nobody is impressed by your lies. Nobody wants them on the plate. So let's improve the world and rid it of these devil cabbages.

And don't try and ruin bacon by frying them together.

Me too, last week I made up a pasta dish, leeks, sprouts, chestnuts, thyme, garlic, butter, black pepper and Parmesan- stirred through pasta - it was divine.

they are delicious cooked or raw.
fried with bacon
fried with breadcrumbs & cinnamon (personal favourite)
grilled & topped with cheese
shredded in stir fry
...

I am the only person in my family unit of 4 who likes them. Which means I rarely get them. 😭
My BIL is my ally, but he's in Oz! 😭😭

With Christmas dinner (or any roast, any time of year!), leftovers made into bubble & squeak or - my absolute favourite - my DH’s Thai peanut sprouts. They are a thing of delicious beauty.

I love them more the older i get. My eldest dc as a kid one Christmas had turkey And sprouts only on their plate. Other dcs hate them though.
But i love them.

I live in Sproutland, the fields reek of sprouts as you drive past during harvest time! The children even bring in Xmas presents of sprout stalks for staff! We love sprouts!

No. Cooked properly, they're delicious. Sprout soup, garlic roasted sprouts, fried sprouts either on their own or with bacon or blue cheese, fried sprouts with garlic, honey and marmite. They're only horrible when they've been boiled and salted to death.

sprouts are only 'not that great' if you boil the life out of them fir a week!!

just clean the up & roast them in the oven & they are the food of the gods!!
