Enjoyed watching the documentary, he was different than I expected him to be, not sure how really, but I have more respect for Victoria now as I think their lives have been about what he wanted/needed mainly

We have been literally force fed brand Beckham for 20 years.

I’ve often heard about affairs and not been sure but this year a very close friend was at a music festival and had an Access All Areas pass. Behind one of the smaller stages, David Beckham was there with a group of friends he and spent most of the time snogging a very attractive much younger woman, not giving a toss who saw him!

And they even make this clear in the edits, we see the set up shots, 'camera rolling' etc at times.

Of course it's a carefully curated piece - but beautifully done & enjoyable to watch. I had zero interest in either of them, liked them both a lot after 2 episodes. Particularly David, he's gorgeous now, something I'm surprised I thought!

Had you not heard of the Spice Girls or realised quite how popular they were at the time? She was already a household name when she met him. Infact it's one of the reasons they did meet.
