I've never broken a bone or given birth, but I have had some very painful periods that have made me feel like I'm going to pass out. Also terrible travel sickness / vomiting on a 20 hour trip that left me wishing for death due to how crap I felt.

DaphneduM · 03/10/2023 21:01

Forceps delivery. Excruciating.

livingthegoodlife · 03/10/2023 21:01

ibs. i frequently faint due to the pain level. giving birth was a breeze with no painkillers.

Pottomous2 · 03/10/2023 21:01

I dislocated my arm and it made me scream out loud. That really hurt. That , and childbirth .

WhatAPalaverer · 03/10/2023 21:02

Hallucinated with the pain of my appendix. Dental abscesses a close second.

freespirit333 · 03/10/2023 21:02

Labour and childbirth without a doubt.

XenoBitch · 03/10/2023 21:02

I slammed my thumb in a car door. I fainted twice.
I have had a dental abscess, and awful period pain. Neither came close.

I have broken a bone in my foot, and that barely hurt at all.

Aliceinunderland · 03/10/2023 21:02

When I had an air bubble in my chest/shoulder following a C-section. Even morphine didn't touch that pain! I thought I was dying

englishrose1234 · 03/10/2023 21:02

Two burst ear drums on same day... hideous

Ilovegoldies · 03/10/2023 21:02

Corneal abrasion.

Quietvoiceplease · 03/10/2023 21:03

I’ve given birth to three children and the worst pain, by a very, very long mile, was bursitis in my shoulder. I genuinely thought death would be a release.

DeathRattleDazzle · 03/10/2023 21:03

Being induced on syntocinon. I begged for death and they just turned it UP.

An infection/recovery after my 3rd section.

DramaAlpaca · 03/10/2023 21:03

Sinus pain. Compared to that, childbirth was a breeze.

StormInaDcup99 · 03/10/2023 21:03

2 veey infected ear canals where ear canals so inflamed the sides were almost touching Wanted someone to literally chop my head off.

Childbirth was a breeze in comparison

TheShellBeach · 03/10/2023 21:03

Recovering from caesarean sections.
Oh, and labour itself.

takealettermsjones · 03/10/2023 21:04

It's a tie between unmedicated childbirth and pulmonary embolism.

Mammma91 · 03/10/2023 21:04

Another for forsteps delivery and the recovery. Pregnant with DC2 now and terrified of childbirth. Have also had some awful period pain I’ve put up next to childbirth. Awful!

sexnotgenders · 03/10/2023 21:04

My second birth. And having an injection into the sole of my foot

Softsoftsleep · 03/10/2023 21:04

Labour pain. The feeling of contractions as you're approaching transition. I felt like my spine was going to snap in half. Hideously painful. For something that's so natural, it sure doesn't feel like it!
