To ask when was the last time you laughed...

I actually can't remember I think it was a year or 2 ago.
The reason I ask is because I seen my friend & her partner, they have both had time off annual leave and my friend said they have had a laugh together this week.
It just got me thinking. I don't really laugh with my partner.

Last night. We noticed that neighbours' visitors had a Mercedes. That reminded us of the Friday Night Dinner episode so we watched it and had tears rolling down out faces.

With dh about ten minutes ago.
With friends probs the last time we went out so a month or so ago.
It's sad if you can't laugh with your partner-I'm not sure our relationship would survive not having fun together .

What a sad read ☹️ I laugh a lot, maybe not absolutely howling with laughter but atleast everyday at some point - a lot with my OH as we have the same sense of humour

XenoBitch · 18/08/2023 23:27

Last night. Played Cards Against Humanity in a pub with friends.

Oh crikey, we make each other laugh every day, with the kids, on our own, face to face, by text and phone, we've been together for 23yrs. I feel like this is normal, we've suffered emotional tragedy and finacial hardship but we've always laughed.

Anotherparkingthread · 19/08/2023 01:39

Me and my partner laugh all the time. He's the funniest person I've ever met, he's so dry and witty. He's not like this in front of anybody else, he's very reserved and keeps his opinions to himself so it's extra special that he shares with me. He's very funny in other ways too, he teases me which I like in a kind way never mean, just little observations on me. He dances and makes up little songs, leapt from standing on the floor to standing on the bed while I was laying on it to make me laugh.
I'm making him sound like a clown, he's not always joking or a total fool and he's emotionally intelligent so isn't like that all the time, which would get old fast.
So yeah we laugh every day multiple times, together almost 5 years now so not a new relationship either.

My husband makes me laugh, as do my DC. I also watch an awful lot of comedy, so laugh often.

A short while ago.
On holiday, watching Titanic with my sons. We're in an open plan Airbnb, leaving tomorrow so the dishwasher was on, and because it was noisy we put subtitles on.
This meant we got the lyrics karaoke style for My Heart Will Go On during the final credits. We all three gave our full Celine. It was impressive!

Last night, when my DCat bribed me to come to bed. Before that, in the evening, during an episode of M A S H.

I laughed this morning with my toddler. He's a funny onion.

Funny onion....I love that sounds so cute.
I cried laughing lastnight watching an old episode of celeb gogglebox I laughed for the whole hour.
I laugh with my friends at work and out of work. I laugh with husband too.
Some of these posts are so sad having a good old laugh releases all the feel good endorphins and it's free.

Last night - sitting on the sofa having a gin and laughing about some nonsense with ds(18)

InSpainTheRain · 22/12/2023 00:17

Almost daily. Last time was this evening at DH being silly.

BitOutOfPractice · 22/12/2023 00:27

Tonight a lot with old friends over drinks. This afternoon with dp and dd1 while we had lunch. This morning listening to a radio show at work.

daily is the answer.

Im an insufferable Pollyanna type that sees the humour in everything. Shoot me.

Last night we had our book club Xmas do. We take it in turns to host, but one of the group LOVES hosting and always does the Xmas one. So now it's a tradition we always look forward to.
We played games and laughed until tears were rolling down our faces.
I love my friends.

I've laughed this morning too, but more just chucking away at stuff.
