How much domino's pizza can you eat?

We are just about to do an order and it's dawned on me it's costing nearly £50.00 😨

Me and my Husband can pretty much eat a large pizza each. We have three children so we are ordering three large and one medium, totalling a whopping £48.98. Surely this is ridiculous for four pizzas. ?! This includes the 50% off too 🙈

Its not designed to be eaten in huge quanities Disagree with this! All the UPF takeaways are specifically intended to encourage over eating.

I don’t care. People can eat whatever they want to eat, but telling other people what they should and shouldn’t be eating because of their own poor relationship with food is not on.

You think the put something in it to make people order a large?

I could eat a large but I'd feel ill and wake up in the night with the sweats. Usually what happens is we order two large pizzas and a side and I eat a half of a large pizza plus a few wedges or nuggets. Then I still wake up thirsty at about midnight

Domino's has always been ridiculously overpriced. I've often quipped that if I was ever fortunate enough to win the Euromillions jackpot the first thing I'd buy is a Domino's pizza without a discount voucher. 😁

It's back! At least it is where I live.

Mostly these days on a sat DH and i share a portion of chips and have a portion of ribs each. Comes to about a fiver each and we're both stuffed 😄

I can est 1 slice without getting sick (IBS) if that wasn't a issue I could eat a medium one

Just looked at our last order- £30 for 2 of us!

We usually do a deal where we get one large pizza and some sides, then add another side.

The last deal included

• large pizza
• twisted doughballs
• potato wedges
• chicken strippers

We'll eat half of the sides each as a "starter" then the pizza is normally split so I have about a third of the pizza and DH has 2/3rd. If he can't manage 2/3rds there will be one slice left which I'll have cold as lunch the next day.

If we didn't have any sides, I'm not sure I'd manage a whole large Domino's pizza to myself, but I'd probably also deliberately leave myself some for lunch the next day, even if I could!

Why would they say it's for 3-4 people if you're meant to order one each. It actually says it's too much on it.

If you want to wind an Italian up, start taking about Domino’s. It’s vile. Only ordered when hanging and it was the only thing open. Couldn’t finish a medium and I’m a massive pig.

We only have papa John's or dominos on special occasions. If we're ordering pizza it's normally from pizza hut, they do a medium pizza for £6.99. I just can't justify the price of dominos.

Well, I could eat a large to myself and used to every time, I’d just gorge on it…. I’m now morbidly obese due to poor diet and lack of exercise.

so if we have dominoes now which is rare, I have about 1/3 of a large one which is actually enough. DH has the same and we save a slice each for later or next day.

kids are still young so don’t need a huge one and will share a medium of have a small individual one each.

The chemicals in/properties of that type of food override the 'full' signals, it is why people consume more calories when eating industrial chemical edible substances.

Once it's established you can eat X amount, people repeat next time.

We get one X large pizza for 2 adults and 3 children aged 4,6 and 8. It has to be enough I’m not spending £30/£40 on pizza.

I could probably eat a large pizza from most pizza restaurants but not from Domino's - I think they are the most revolting pizzas I've ever had! As someone else said, you could get really nice pizzas from a proper pizza restaurant for the same price.

To be fair 2500 Kcals is absolutely fine for a once a week meal
You can easily have 1000 Kcals the rest of the day without going hungry
giving you 3500 for the day

If you generally eat healthy the rest of the week you can easy still be in calorie defecit no problem

It annoys me that the half and half pizzas were stopped during lockdown and haven't come back! We used to get 2 large to share for 4 of us with sides, but now end up with 4 smaller pizzas and sides and it costs more so only get for a birthday treat! If I'm spending that much on pizza I don't want to compromise on my toppings!

I could nail a large and not blink.

Many years ago, when I could kind of afford it, could definately polish one off each. Now they're just insanely expensive. Can't justify buying one.

I have a medium and wedges.

This makes no sense to me.

I overeat at times. I'm comfortable hearing/reading comments from everyone on the full spectrum.

I would think only someone with an eating issue would be upset at other people's eating thoughts. Personal insults are different.

I have a healthy relationship with food and can tell you that eating an entire large pizza of any variety is not healthy. It is overeating.
