How much domino's pizza can you eat?

We are just about to do an order and it's dawned on me it's costing nearly £50.00 😨

Me and my Husband can pretty much eat a large pizza each. We have three children so we are ordering three large and one medium, totalling a whopping £48.98. Surely this is ridiculous for four pizzas. ?! This includes the 50% off too 🙈

A large pizza from dominoes is supposed to feed 2 hungry people (or 4 lighter eaters).

Says who! People can eat what they fancy! One slice and you're done for a week - great. Hungry and want to scran a large to yourself - have at it.

We work on "half a large" each (often do half and half pizzas too) and there's usually some left over for the next day. We're not tiny people either!!

The app says the large is for 3-4 people.

I think 2 is realistic, but if you want a whole one go for it.

We share a large pizza. 5 slices each. I couldn't eat a whole large to myself. Think I could when I was a teenager

Can you collect? My local Domino's does a medium pizza for £7.99 if you pick it up. You can get a large for £9.99.

About 2000 calories in a large. So that should serve three really.

It is easy to over eat them because they are upf chemical shit.

I gave them up 15 years ago when I ate one sober and realised it was just gross.

£50 on Domino's is a total waste for such a toxic meal IMO.

We prefer Pizza Hut

Half a large deep pan is perfect if I'm really hungry.

Then I'll fall into a pizza coma on the sofa and heat the rest up the next day.

Chocolate chip cookies. They're warm, bit gooey, and you get 4 in a box.

Husband and I get a large between the two of us. I comfortably eat half but these days I leave 1 slice, so does my husband and then one of us has the slices for lunch the next day.

I'm less a fan of this plan.....much prefer to just have my half of the pizza, but probably better for me to just have the 3 slices.....sigh

People are falling over themselves to tell you that just a sniff of the pizza box is enough to sustain them until Christmas. If you eat more than two slices, you’re terribly greedy and must be very fat, no? head tilt

I can manage a medium, no bother. Probably a large if I was very hungry, but I always get a medium because I want to make sure I have room for sides too Grin

But so could most people tbh, it’s only here that you will find the competitive undereaters.

Dominoes say it's for 4.... like Twix say it's for two people... Or a bar of Cadbury chocolate contains 5 servings of 4 squares each .. or a bottle of Fanta is for 2 people etc.
they fudge the servings qty to make it look less bad for you.

Why not order just one large pizza then ?

See - i can't eat a large Pizza Hut deep pan. But the dominos is quite thin.

If i'm going to have a dominos it's always a Sat night with a couple of JDs and i genuinely don't eat much else during the day to make way for it 😂 Maybe a bit of toast at 8am and then just a few cups of tea. Ravenous by half 7 !!

I could eat a large, but half can be enough if I boost it up to a stuffed crust large and share with ds. I feel like it's worth the extra couple of quid to make each slice a bit more filling.

I'm pretty sure I'd be capable of eating a large one (never actually had a domino's, though) but I'd be massively put off by tue number of calories in it and wouldn't enjoy it as a result.

Probably half of one with a plain salad would be fine, though.

When I visited the UK I was quite surprised to see some people ordered chips as a side to pizza.

I do think biscuits after is a bit weird too though. 😊

I can eat loads but not loads of pizza, I think because it’s all the same all the way through.

Half a large pizza would be fine for me (but not Domino’s because I don’t like them).

God the 'huge salad', 'sniff the pizza box', 'One small pizza would last me a week' jokes are so bloody boring and repetitive 🙄🙄

I think MNHQ should update the OP with
