To think Vaping is as anti-social as Cigarettes.

I'm becoming increasingly irritated by vapes, everywhere I go there are people surrounded by a cloud of sickly smelling chemicals.
At a gig this weekend every group of people had at least one vaper constantly puffing.
Why do people think its OK?
My other bug bear is the discarded disposable ones 😡

No I don't think vapes are as anti social as cigarettes. Not that either bothers me that much.

I think they are a bit gross when you cant get out of the cloud, but I'd still prefer it to cigarette smoke.
If I stand outside with someone vaping I'm not going to smell of it and still have that smell on my clothes and hair at the end of the day.
Plus I've had little burns, on my skin and clothes from people smoking in big crowds but that doesn't happen with vapes.
I don't know if they stain walls and ceilings like cigarettes do but it doesn't seem like it and I prefer that.

And I know they are still bad for people but they are 'less bad' and even if someone blows a big cloud of blueberry ice at me, that still feels less antisocial than actual smoke.

I work in a public facing role and cigarette smell, especially when its stale and basically infused into a person is quite confronting and its stigmatising when its on the children of indoor smokers who have no choice but to smell like that. Vapes just don't have the same lingering smell and impact.
There are obviously different problems with vapes like the plastuc waste and the marketing and selling to children but they don't seem on the same level as cigarettes to me.

I really dislike both. I don’t know why it’s acceptable to blowing out huge billows of smoke from either a cigarette or vale, I’m sick of walking through whatever shit it is people are exhaling. Gross.

My sis and her husband vape- there’s no smell and very little vapour

Definitely not as bad as cigarettes. Cigarette smoke even passively can give you cancer. Very unlikely with vaping. I do think that disposable vapes should be banned though.

Like PPs, I don't like either, but cigarette smoke makes me feel sick, makes my eyes water, and leaves my clothes smelling awful. Not to mention the health implications.

Vaping is just mildly annoying. Not in the same league imo.

While vaping is not as vile as smoking to bystanders, those doing it look like utter twats. Giant babies sucking their pacifier, it's pathetic. Couldn't be doing with anyone who either smokes or vapes.

You are always walking through whatever shit it is people are exhaling. Cigarette smoke/vaping makes it visible but it’s always there.

Have you never seen the trajectory of a sneeze?

Very very few have puffy clouds of chemicals any more.
Disposable ones are better than fag ends
Miost people will put a used vape in their pocket to put in the bin but not a used fag end.

My DH cakes and it smells of nothing. I don't particularly like the 'flavour Ed' smelling vapes, but I'd much rather that than cigarette smoke

Someone I work with has a lemon tart flavoured vape, so I suppose cake vapes probably do exist! Grin
