What age did you start getting quite a lot of grey hairs? Mine look very noticeable now at 38

It's almost like I've had a T bar of highlights but they are grey and not blonde. I don't mind it but wonder if I will get fed up of it soon. My natural colour is very dark so it's weird to me to have lighter coloured hairs growing, so it's novel!

What age were you when you had a noticeable amount of grey? Did you embrace it?

If not what are the best ways to colour it to cover it without a whole head dye?

I used to go very blonde in my youth by keeping a full head of highlights but don't have the interest or energy for that anymore.

Can you get dark lowlights painted over they greys, is that a thing?

I am 37 and have loads of greys have done for years, my grandmother is 97 and has hardly, wish I had taken after her as I hate mine!!

I'm early 50s and naturally blonde. I have quite a few grey hairs but they don't really show much in my fair hair. My father has the same hair colour and he looked fair rather than white haired until nearly 70. My DM was dark haired and had noticeable grey hairs by 30, completely grey by 45ish. Just luck I suppose.

46 and no greys.

My mum's 80 and is only about 30% grey.

I’m 55 and about 20% grey. I don’t dye it as such, but I do use a colour depositing shampoo and conditioner which doesn’t get rid of the grey but it sort of blends it with the rest of my hair quite effectively.

I had the odd grey hair at around 30. I have loads along one temple now at 37 but my hair is sort of dirty blonde/mousey brown so it’s not as noticeable as it could be. My mother, on the other hand, is 65 and has no noticeable grey… unfair!

I’m 47 and still no signs of grey. My best friend had hers start in her early 20’s, though her brothers started going bald then too. I’d say it’s in the genes.
