The thief who nicked my DH's phone this week got past his code in a jiffy and wreaked havoc. You just take it to your local high street mobile phone store who asks no questions and it's done. Easy peasy.
I'm sure he knows that.

Even if for once in his life he is telling the truth and he genuinely can not recall the pass code, that is still completely irrelevant and no excuse whatsoever for ignoring a High Court order. All he was asked to do was hand the phone over, so that's all he needed to do.

In fairness he also can't remember how many children he has, so a passcode does seem a little tricky.
