https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/7462406/

You could have just googled it.

Unfortunately that isn't a male with induced lactation.

Someone else said a male couldn't fully sustain a baby and you claimed they could and produced a laleche quote which actually proved they couldn't. If you are making these claims please back them up properly.

Mustardseed86 · 10/07/2023 11:23

I agree @GSDmom and mumsnet is very skewed towards these negative stories. Unfortunately there is no shortage of them though and this kind of thing needs to be called out in no uncertain terms!

Chocolatelabradorsarethebest · 10/07/2023 11:24

Ah, it's the daily transphobic thread, right, thanks for that.

Stop the presses!!!!!!!!

Consenting adult who breastfeeds also likes nipple play(!).

Yes but it’s a man ! He’s a pervert !

oOiluvfriendsOo · 10/07/2023 11:26

Seeitsayitsalted · 10/07/2023 10:15

Do you think women who enjoy nipple stimulation are disgusting for BF?

Why would it be disgusting, breastfeeding for biological females is a natural thing.

TheoTheopolis23 · 10/07/2023 11:26

Everything is a performance to these men.

They used to be satisfied with "woman face" drag performance.

Now it is has to be menstruating performance, breast feeding performance. Someone give them a real birth experience and see how keen they are to "perform" that.

Apparently they men in Molly houses used to act out weddings and births .... It's like that but with idiot medical professionals bringing surgery and medication into it for them.

You're not going to shut conversation down like that hon. 'Transphobic' is a meaningless insult at this stage.

Sigh.

Yes, we wouldn't want to safeguard women or children's rights, would we .... That would be "transphobic".

MAN who 'breastfeeds'

By taking a cocktail of drugs - the long term effects of which are unknown 😡

I didn't claim anything, or post anything from La Leche league. I posted a scientific study about make up of male breast milk which someone else said there weren't any of. I didn't google extensively, just saw this and posted it

Nanny0gg · 10/07/2023 11:29

Sapphire387 · 10/07/2023 09:22

Does this trans person have milk in there for the baby?

Kind of - due to drugs to encourage 'milk'

Chocolatelabradorsarethebest · 10/07/2023 11:24

Ah, it's the daily transphobic thread, right, thanks for that.

Why is anything that questions and discusses labelled transphobic? There is no phobia here? Do you actually know what being phobic is like? It certainly doesn’t look like calm discussion.

Dabralor · 10/07/2023 11:30

Calm down, Terfs - it's only a man posting his breastfeeding on social media. Jeez, what hysteric prudes you all are!

. “... He realized how easy it was to present an appearance of orthodoxy while having no grasp whatever of what orthodoxy meant. In a way, the world-view of the Party imposed itself most successfully on people incapable of understanding it. They could be made to accept the most flagrant violations of reality, because they never fully grasped the enormity of what was demanded of them, and were not sufficiently interested in public events to notice what was happening. By lack of understanding they remained sane. They simply swallowed everything, and what they swallowed did them no harm, because it left no residue behind, just as a grain of corn will pass undigested through the body of a bird".

Is it transphobic to put a baby's rights first? Presumably EVERYONE in the entire world agrees that the needs of a baby come before everything else, yes? Is the baby a Transphobe for not wanting to be part of this man's desire to breastfeed?

VestaTilley · 10/07/2023 11:32

YANBU. It’s child abuse. I complained to the NSPCC about it; their response was pathetic. “Parents know best how to feed their children” or some such rubbish.

But it’s not milk, it’s galactorrhea- assuming he’s taking galactagoues which are not licensed in the U.K. It’s a fetish and he’s using his baby as a prop.

These people are monsters.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 10/07/2023 11:32

GSDmom · 10/07/2023 11:20

@Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g
And I quote
"Fine, if it doesn't affect others adversely. Many activists are keen to say there's no clash of rights, but that doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Women in prison, women in sport, crime statistics and census data no longer accurate, girls losing single sex loos in school, women losing single sex breastfeeding support groups, disabled women unable to stipulate female carers only and have that respected, rape crisis centres run by males, etc etc."

To which I said there were many issues that need addressing but tarring all transgender people with the same brush is wrong.

Please point to where I have done this. I can't see it in the post you've pasted in there.

On principle I never click on or read links where the sender hasn't given me a reason or incentive to do so through some kind of explanation.

Life's too short.

With a response like that I’d have to think you are one of them. Do you want to “punch us all in the fucking face” as well ?

Yes exactly. Tell you what mate, I’ll bash you repeatedly between the balls and anus with a mallet, slice you with a knife in the same place afterwards, all the while having my 21 stone husband slam dunk on your stomach for 5 hours.
After that, breast feed all you want as long as you get a maximum of 2 hours sleep a night for several weeks.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 10/07/2023 11:36

justteanbiscuits · 10/07/2023 11:31

This is what I was thinking of. A supplemental nursing system. There was a lot around when mine were new borns about men using this to increase the bond with their baby etc

https://www.medela.com/breastfeeding-professionals/products/feeding/supplemental-nursing-system

There may have been a lot of talk about it. How many men actually used it, more than once? What would be the point of it, anyway? Much better to focus on giving the new mother proper support to be able to breastfeed if that's what she wants to do, to give new parents the support they need generally so they're not absolutely knackered all the time, and to encourage men to use their paternity leave to muck in and do practical things like looking after the older children, doing the cleaning, shopping and cooking, changing the newborn's nappy, bathing and so on.

LanaDeIRabies · 10/07/2023 11:36

Do we know who/where the child's mother is?

TheKeatingFive · 10/07/2023 11:37

It's a trans woman (man) 'breastfeeding' an infant, who has also documented his nipple fetish across social media.
