Apologies if this has already been covered.

I read in the paper this morning that AK and his DH have welcomed TWO babies into their lives, born to two different surrogates. One child is six months old and their sibling is two months old.

I genuinely cannot wrap my head around this. It seems so very odd to me. Is it a case of ‘one each’ or ‘get the baby stages over asap’?

Obviously nobody but the two parents can answer this but AIBU to find this really quite disturbing?

Daughter was am month early so there should have been 3 months between them. I assume they were intending to go for "twins" but son took a few more cycles to conceive.

If you've not birth to recover from and can buy in help, I see a practical logic to having them both at a similar time, one lots of new born hell, altho 4 month regression etc are split, one lkot of new starts for school etc.

He was on Desert Island Discs this morning, telling the world about the surrogacy. I hated his book This Is Going To Hurt, couldn’t read anything else he wrote!

There are plenty of quoted words straight out of his mouth on this one. Verifiable in his "works" and interviews. I can think of fewer men who openly hate women more.

I’m surprised he went down the surrogacy route given he left medicine due to witnessing trauma in obs and gynae. Perhaps he is suffering from selective amnesia.

It's a case of two people acting utterly selfishly with no concern for the babies they've bought (let alone the surrogate mother).
