It’s very confusing.
Rumours have been circulating for three years, even I knew the rumours, how on earth did Holly and others not?
He says there was no injunction, so the boy could have spoken out at any time..so why is it all coming out now?? Why has Holly suddenly distanced herself, why have itv got rid of him now?
They've now said the boy was 15 when they met (sure was younger?) and nothing happened until he was older, nothing illegal but still massively wrong. But if there is nothing illegal and they all knew about it…why now?
Why has P.S been so willing to go along with it this week?

This feels like a cover up for something much much worse?

I think that Philip's brother has been around Holly's children at some point - maybe a party or BBQ. Then Holly finds out that Philip knew all along that his brother was a paedophile.

Why are they so poor at safeguarding and giving staff safeguarding training after Savile?

If Holly can't safeguard did to bring dim/lack of training/selfish or whatever - at home or work should she be an influencer on Instagram or TV, because if she can't there she can't safeguard the public?

Aren't we as parents to be aware of being groomed by adults who want to get to our children?

Why is her husband Dan, the older parent, so thick or neglectful that he enabled these men near his son?

She's distancing herself because his ship's sinking and she doesn't want to be dragged down with him. That's all. She's known about everything for years. She knew about him and the runner last week when she put out statements that's she'll miss him. Now she's putting out statements criticising him. I guess that's showbiz friendships for you.

Amazing how the rot set in with the Queens funeral and, for once, Holly's statement couldn't overcome the criticism. It's been downhill for the two of them since.

This. I actual read newspapers from overseas now because they give calm, unbiased facts. Not hysteria, speculation, 25 articles a day saying virtually the same thing.

How many people actually watch that programme? The media are using us as performing seals, demanding that we be outraged and trying to create a hysterical reaction.

They’ve already trued their near annual “police visiting algarve beach in the height of sumner to search for clues” clickbait but nobody’s buying that these days so this is clickbait central.

There may have been rumours but that's all they were rumours. The ITV bosses asked PS and the other man involved if the rumours were true and they both denied it. So they would have to accept those answers as without proof what can anyone do? The same with HW, some people can be very convincing when they lie.

I am getting mixed messages about complaints.

Were the complaints on behalf of the lad or because of personal issues?

If careful wording is being used, these celebs later in an inquiry will look worse for lying that they were whistleblowers and it turns out their complaints were just about their personal ego not about grooming the lad.

How much has the UK taxpayers paid in inquiries and serious case reviews? They claim lessons are learned.

Why are there no laws against influencers exploiting the vulnerable and not safeguarding?
