Ok I know I've spelt her surname wrong... but here we are. We all know who I'm talking about! I just don't understand why social media has turned on her, almost blaiming her for allowing Phillip S antics to go on? Why is she responsible for his actions???? And for those saying "she must've known"... maybe she didn't! Maybe she kept out of it or maybe she didn't know the full one and puts. Why so she being Blaine's. Am I missing something??!

It was common knowledge. Of course she knew. Ruth Complained to itv bosses and was then banished from this morning along with her husband amongst others. It was also pretty easy to find on Twitter (and has been known in media, tv and theatre circles for a long time -pre his admission of being gay) there's no way she couldn't have known about it.

If it’s common knowledge then why’s it her fault? If ITV new and didn’t want to act… how is it her fault? What did you want her to realistically do?

I still do t really understand why we’re all hating him. Is it because he had an affair? Because he’s gay? Because the person he had the affair with was young and the rumour is he manipulated the person into a sexual relationship?

I can’t work it out. I don’t like him because he’s everywhere and seems a sanctimonious prick but I can’t work out why this is constant front page news. People have affairs all the time and keep their jobs. The whole of parliament lie all the time and keep their jobs. What am I missing?

I read about it on Twitter and on here at least 2 years ago.

There is a chance she believed his denials I suppose.

My dd is angry that Holly is being blamed though. I have no sympathy.

So whilst I agree with you that HW is not responsible for the actions of her colleague, the plausibility of her having no knowledge is realistically nil.

Imagine your "best work colleague" was investigated by your employer, your colleagues are chatting about all the stuff that has been on twitter and the like for ages....... videos circulate which give some credence to the rumours.....

Imagine further two very established big name colleagues are let go because one makes a complaint regarding these rumours?

All of this coupled with the fact that HW and PS were both under the same talent agency (which he holds shares in and employs his daughter), the same agency who have arranged media mgt, legal support and hush money/arrangements.....? Holly parted company with them a year ago and pocketed a £million quid.... Why do you imagine that might be perchance?

She asked-he lied. In light of the above it would be at best naive of HW to genuinely believe this.

Does this make her culpable for his crimes/misdemeanours? No.

it does though reflect terribly upon her which is clearly why for some time now she has been removing ties with PS, it is clear she had knowledge along with many others. And yet, she remained and stayed for the ride-that I think is what so many are calling into question.

The most important question I think the majority here one all these threads is the fact that if PS admitted lying to all he did over this, the probability he did lie again to the court for his brother is high. Let that sink in......

He forgot that you should be extra nice on your way up so that you have friends on your way down. The same would happen to Corden if something came out about him. It's not about PS and his sexuality. It's about him being a horrible nasty piece of work.

Even if she did no that he’s a creep, it was common knowledge and ITV wouldn’t act on it, so what was she suppose to do? Throw away her career and ability to feed her kids? And what would that have achieved? What exactly was her crime? If everyone at itv new why not shut down the channel rather than blaming one woman?
