Are living in some kind of shit, TV movie about the fall of the UK?

How any mother of girls can even consider voting for this bunch of woman hating wankers is beyond me

That’s what I think of people hearing Labour call them dinosaurs, refusing to even answer questions on women’s rights calling them shrill and bigoted, and repeating that no one is discussing the issue rather than speaking clearly so women can decide.

So insulting. They can sod off

This.

You're actually hallucinating now

That's what I took from your (otherwise completely irrelevant to anyone or anything) remark that you're not bothered by men in women's spaces.

I feel increasingly confident that when I check this thread in the morning, it will have gone back around the rather odd circle of things that David Lammy hasn't ever said.

I mean, the reason I linked to a video showing him saying it instead of just quoting him was so that you couldn't do this, but it seems I underestimated your capacity for denial.

These, scare me:

"7. Public Research. At a time when China is rapidly overtaking America and the Western nations in fields crucial for security and defense, a Cold War-type program modeled on DARPA, the “moon-shot,” and SDI is needed to focus large-scale public resources on scientific and technological research with military applications, on restoring and upgrading national manufacturing capacity, and on education in the physical sciences and engineering. On the other hand, we recognize that most universities are at this point partisan and globalist in orientation and vehemently opposed to nationalist and conservative ideas. Such institutions do not deserve taxpayer support unless they rededicate themselves to the national interest. Education policy should serve manifest national needs.

  1. Family and Children. We believe the traditional family is the source of society’s virtues and deserves greater support from public policy. The traditional family, built around a lifelong bond between a man and a woman, and on a lifelong bond between parents and children, is the foundation of all other achievements of our civilization. The disintegration of the family, including a marked decline in marriage and childbirth, gravely threatens the wellbeing and sustainability of democratic nations. Among the causes are an unconstrained individualism that regards children as a burden, while encouraging ever more radical forms of sexual license and experimentation as an alternative to the responsibilities of family and congregational life. Economic and cultural conditions that foster stable family and congregational life and child-raising are priorities of the highest order."
* In other words, only research and education that supports Nat-C ideals and, traditional, nuclear families.

Our FUCKING HOME SECRETARY is speaking at this conference!

This should scare the shit out of anybody who passed GCSE history.*

Send for Ira Levin, we're running out of Stepford Wives. Ms Cates sounds utterly deranged, poor thing. Still, it's earning her a living. Is that allowed though? Or is that just for special educated women who've somehow found themselves to be an MP? Her husband and children must be thrilled to have a mum who's hard at work guiding other women to their natural roles as wives and mothers. Recommended reading 'The Angel in the House', Coventry Patmore.

What a lovely return to Victorian times where 'Ladies' can devote themselves to their domestic duties, pop out 4 or 5 children, and never trouble their delicate brains with too much cerebral activity. Sends them quite mad, you know.

I certainly missed the part where you named a party I can vote for which will uphold women's rights.

SDP and a British Communist Party are and have consistently opposed TWAW doctrine. Both seem to actually know what a woman is and theyre not afraid to say it.Smile

Useful.

Chilling. Useful for sociology teachers, on the bright side. Their days are numbered though.

jgw1 · 16/05/2023 22:46

I have a theory.

Those who spoke at the NatC event had heard that Priti Patel has spoken at a rival ConDem event and said that we need to fight socialists who want Britain forced to rejoin the UK.

The NatCs realised the stakes were quite high in the game of dare to see who could say the stupidiest thing and still get votes from the Tory party faithful, so some of them had to go all in.

Samphiredragonfly · 16/05/2023 22:50

@Bobbleballbags how can Labour be any worse ? At what point does the country say enough is enough, let's give another party a chance ? Or is this it forever. Eternal tory government because fear of the alternative is worse ?..

Endlesssummer2022 · 16/05/2023 22:50

And don’t think for a second the organisers of this conference didn’t realise the name would be shortened to Nat-C sounding similar to Nazi. They are hiding in plain sight.

8state · 16/05/2023 22:50

It's ridiculous to say the traditional family is responsible for the nation's achievements. There must be plenty of thinkers, inventors, scientists, creatives who were gay, single or who had a non traditional family life.

There's still a year to go. Contact them. And check out the Independants standing in your constituency.

Or vote for the party that have ceded our rights to TRAs, think your daughter should budge up to make room for the boys, and cut their education short to have more babies.

When someone shows you who they are, believe them. The Tories hate women.

newnamethanks · 16/05/2023 22:58

Stand as an independent candidate then as nobody suits you @MargotBamborough, no doubt you'll be in with a massive majority supporting your views and you'll have a platform from which to expound.

cakeorwine · 16/05/2023 22:58

I wonder how many of the prominent Tories at the conference believe this

"Economic and cultural conditions that foster stable family and congregational life and child-raising are priorities of the highest order."

And what policies would they like to see?

Policies like expanding free hours so more women can work?

If policies end up in the manifesto then I can see the connection

If it’s just some fear of a 2029 direction I’d be more worried about the general state of the world by then

Yes, this is what Kellie Jay thingy is planning to do in Starmer's constituency, isn't she? Will be interesting to see how that pans out (hint: she won't win).

Some of the Tories very own PMs don't even fit this mould. Heath never married. May never had children. It is crazy.

8state · 16/05/2023 23:16

@IClaudine Maybe it's different for them. They can live how they like but the rest of the nation needs to be controlled, especially women.

So the issue isn't men who fuck off and consider paying for and parenting their children. The issue isn't men who consume porn and use sex workers. The issue isn't men who, under Tory governance and under their eye have "identified" into women's spaces. The issue isn't men who push sexual boundaries. The issue isn't men who rape with impunity in the UK. The men who abuse women and children.

It's women being educated and choosing not to tie themselves to such men.

The Tories hate women.AngryAngryAngry
