Do you keep your toilet bleach in the bathroom?

As the title says… do you keep your domestos or other toilet bleach in the bathroom?

if so, where? Next to the loo, in a cupboard? If not, where in the house?

Please help settle a dispute with my boyfriend as to where the bleach belongs on the house.. it’s getting contentious now 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yes, in the bathroom, in a cupboard.

NancyJoan · 07/05/2023 16:11

Yes. On the floor, next to the loo.

bloodywhitecat · 07/05/2023 16:12

I don't keep it anywhere now as I don't use it any more but when I did it lived in the bathroom.

somewhereovertherain · 07/05/2023 16:12

In each loo.

Smashingwatermelons · 07/05/2023 16:13

In a cupboard in the bathroom

Sprogonthetyne · 07/05/2023 16:13

Mines in the cupboard under the sink, but that's because there's no easy way to fit a baby lock on the bathroom cupboard. Pre children it lived next to the toilet.

HurdyGurdy19 · 07/05/2023 16:14

In the bathroom, it's in the cupboard under the sink.

In the downstairs loo, it's on the floor next to the toilet.

Where are you keeping yours 😄

Steakandquinoa · 07/05/2023 16:14

Loo bleach in the bathroom- next to toilet. Kitchen bleach in the kitchen.

NEmama · 07/05/2023 16:14

Every toilet has a bottle of bleach next to it along with a brush so anyone can clean off any skids

NEmama · 07/05/2023 16:15

Separate kitchen bleach in cupboard under sink

Ywudu · 07/05/2023 16:15

Next to the toilet

CC4712 · 07/05/2023 16:15

Cupboard in the bathroom. If I had children though- it would be locked or in a higher up cupboard somewhere.

HeidiUpTheMountain · 07/05/2023 16:15

In the bathroom, in a low cupboard. In the downstairs loo, also in a lower cupboard. We don’t have to worry about keeping the house child safe. Then the kitchen bleach lives under the kitchen sink, so we know which is which!

Same. Toilet bleach kept in the bathroom cupboard and just used for that. Different bleach for the kitchen (barely use it there) but that is kept in the kitchen cupboard! I don't keep anything next to the toilet incase of splashes.

BunsenBurnerBaby · 07/05/2023 16:16

Unless there are toddlers or babies in the house, next to the loo with the loo brush. Not bleach, but toilet cleaner so same thing?

W0tnow · 07/05/2023 16:16

One in each toilet.

shieldmaiden7 · 07/05/2023 16:17

In the bathroom under the sink

Sparrow91 · 07/05/2023 16:17

thank you for the range of responses…

me viewpoint is that toilet bleach belongs to the bathroom, preferably next to the loo.

DP, keeps his in the kitchen. Which is downstairs and far far away from the loo 🤯

I just think I’m never going to poop at his house ever 🤣

Next to the loo.

hairdresserbreakup · 07/05/2023 16:17

Yup just keep it by the loo.

AlltheFs · 07/05/2023 16:19

In a cupboard, high up- away from DD. Used to be next to the loo but not safe to now. The cupboard doesn’t lock but is high.

I’d say definitely bathroom is usual but that said we have an unusual old cottage and things have very odd homes as the storage is a little random. All of our cleaning products for the house live in the bathroom, but it is downstairs. The kitchen lacks enough space.

NEmama · 07/05/2023 16:23

@Sparrow91 yanbu

SpecialControlGroup · 07/05/2023 17:16

We have a bottle in the bathroom (next to the loo) and a bottle in the kitchen (under the sink)

ConstanceReid · 07/05/2023 17:19

Yes, in a cupboard in each bathroom and the ds loo. I don’t want it on show, but then I don’t want anything on show. I think it distasteful when people have spare loo rolls on show 🥴

Cuppaand2biscuits · 07/05/2023 17:21

3 bottles in this house, one in the cupboard in the bathroom, one in the cupboard in the downstairs loo and one in the cupboard under the kitchen sink.
