To think this looks awful?! Grazing table....

Posted by a local pub for an event ..... wouldn't be able to eat a thing if I was going! All those hands in there, not to mention how far over you'd have to lean to get to the food in the middle and the worst bit? This will sit there for at least 12 hours before the event which is surely not within food hygiene regulations and it will taste awful!

It's the sort of thing you would share with your immediate family at a push, but not with anyone else. Definitely not with randomers.

It's a bit grim but I absolutely love food that's been left to go soft/ crusty/ curly Blush. Leftover buffet is my ultimate guilty pleasure.

Also don't mind fingers and couldn't care less about double dipping.

I will leave quietly now...

Will there be tongs for guests to pick up the food and transfer it onto their plates? I don’t see a problem as long as nobody has to pick up the food with their fingers.

Exactly the same as a buffet. Fine… if nobody manhandles the food before others get there

The grazing table is the most stupidest idea ever invented! Its gross, it's unhygienic and just wrong on all levels. I'm fussy with my food and feck knows where people's hands have been. Its a big, fat NO from me on that one!

Actually it may not have been out that long....the grammar on the post implies it is happening tomorrow but another post says it happened today. Who knows. Either way....I wouldn't touch it if it was fresh out of the fridge unless I was first at it!
