Would you give away your pet for a million pounds?

Hypothetically.
If somebody knocked on my door right now and offered to re-home my cat for a million pounds, I just don't think I could do it. Even though that would be a completely life-changing amount of money for me. Could you?

Starhead69 · 18/04/2023 18:39

I wouldn’t.

Lockheart · 18/04/2023 18:39

My goldfish or my gerbils, probably. If it was one of my dogs though not in a million years.

afaloren · 18/04/2023 18:39

No way

LoobyDop · 18/04/2023 18:39

Not for any amount. There are some relatives we could come to an arrangement on, though.

Jojobees · 18/04/2023 18:39

Do they get my pet? Or do I have to give it to a stranger?
can I buy pet back in minutes?

BarelyLiterate · 18/04/2023 18:39

I’d let it go for a lot less than that.

Clariana · 18/04/2023 18:40

I'd give mine away for a fiver, she is a twat! (Just joking)

Animallover87 · 18/04/2023 18:40

No; my cat is my favourite person in the whole world.

TinySaltLick · 18/04/2023 18:40

I would take significantly less than that

Lapland123 · 18/04/2023 18:40

Yes, in a heartbeat! But it was not me who wanted a pet in the first place!

Whisper23 · 18/04/2023 18:40

Some days I'd happily give him away for two bob and a pickled egg, the little swine.

Stressybetty · 18/04/2023 18:40

Depends where they're going. If new home already there with wonderful family who we can meet first then maybe. We have 6 dogs so depends also which one.

SnuggleBuggleBoo · 18/04/2023 18:40

Not for a billion pounds.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 18/04/2023 18:40

No!

RedRobyn2021 · 18/04/2023 18:41

Yes take them away!

I am kidding of course. No. I've never been money driven.

Beadley · 18/04/2023 18:41

Yes.
He hasn’t endeared himself to me today by pooing in his crate even as he didn’t want to go outside in the wind.
