To be annoyed about Wet Wipes ban

I have never put them down the toilet, but because too many stupid people do, I will no longer be able to clean my bum hole properly!
And don't have a large bathroom so there's no space for a bidet, before anyone suggests it.

There loads of wipes that don’t contain plastic if you must use them. Tesco apparently haven’t sold any that contain it for about a year.

You can also get a bum gun that you can self install onto the toilet water supply.
DH just uses a plastic bottle of water when he's at work.

That's rinsingyour bum, not cleaning it. Rinsing and cleaning are two different things!

How often does your bum need scrubbing?! Can't you just wash it when you have a shower? Presumably it's covered by clothes the rest of the time? All this washing can't be good for you, never mind the planet!

Hmm. DH and I been having trouble persuading DS (25) to move into his own place. Maybe leaving a 'Bidet Spray with No Air Lock Bottom Wiper Bottle' around the bathroom, while whispering sweet nothings to each other over supper, might do the trick.

You can buy a spritz that you can spray onto toilet roll if you want to do that. FreshX is the one that Sainsbury's sell.

Or you could even use water.

Large portions of the planet rinse their nether regions after going to the toilet. We have the aforementioned bum guns in our toilets and they are fantastic.

This is absolutely bonkers.

Use toilet paper and then shower daily like a normal person.

If you're making so much mess everytime you go to the toilet in the absence of a medical condition, you probably need to look at your diet.

I use a sitz bath, similar to this one

It's much more hygienic and thorough than wiping and also kinder to your skin.

It's nothing to do with mess or medical conditions. DH is Muslim and grew up in North Africa, it's how they clean themselves after going to the toilet.
