Godzillaisjusthangry · 01/04/2023 08:32

The daily fail have really gone after Thomas Cashman's partner in the paper today, painting her as a gangsters moll.

Do you think she really knew what he was up to? What's the feeling in Liverpool towards her?

AIBU to feel sorry for his kids and wonder what kind of life they will have now? his son and daughter are also victims in this horrible tragedy now. It's so sad.

@user146539089

what are these other powers you mention?

user146539089 · 01/04/2023 22:45

@Whichnumbers powers to investigate how people are accruing their wealth.

thats fine f you have the person power to do the legwork, the police (and im not a fan) don't have that wo/manpower to conduct the work on the scale that would be needed. The criminals have accountants to cover their tracks, that will legitimise their business and make things look as they should

user146539089 · 01/04/2023 23:31

I’m sorry @Whichnumbers but the police need to change their priorities and take these people down. That includes using their own forensic accountants.

So what about him then? We also dont know the truth of his story (whatever that means), so he is also motivated by good eh?

Honestly its this sort of nonsense bullshit that leaves society not challenging and judging people's behaviour and lifestyle choices enough

A child has died, the pair of them are part of a huge criminal industry which has blood on its hands at numerous levels and people are wittering on about people being 'motivated by good'

I would think he was trying to provide for his family doing the only thing he knows how to do. Obviously it isn't the right thing to do but his motivation for doing it may have been 'good'.
It is a very sad story for everyone involved.

'Only thing he knew how to do'? Seriously?!!
Couldn't work a phone, operate a till/mop/broom? He could drive.. could have got a job as takeaway delivery driver?
Being a murdering drug dealer wasn't his only option in life!

I wonder how many people on here who slag off Cashman and his partner for their lifestyle and lack of concern over human life also turn a blind eye to their own & their kids recreational drug use?

We create the demand for the people like him, without us, that little girl would still be alive.

Oh FFS. Your posts on this thread are beyond offensive. A little girl has died and here you are trying to make excuses for the perpetrator. Shameful.

This can’t be real.

So are you including yourself in the 'us' involved in drugs? Don't have this on my conscience as haven't and don't now take drugs.

Emigratingimmigrant · 02/04/2023 07:30

Fucking hell😂

Bet you no one would be excusing him if he had few less hair and teeth

Antiquiteas · 02/04/2023 08:12

@JackiePlace you need to get off this thread. Your ‘contributions’ have been absolutely horrific. Stop making excuses for this absolute cunt and his revolting family. Seriously.

user146539089 · 02/04/2023 08:40

@JackiePlace you really need to reset your moral compass. You think you are a good person but in reality you really aren’t.

Chowtime · 02/04/2023 08:48

To be fair to his affair partner - she didn't really have a choice but to turn him in. If she had gone along with his alibi she would have been complicit in the crime and gone to prison herself too. I'm assuming he was wanting her to say he'd been with her all night.

I wouldn't go to prison for something I didn't do - I'd do the same thing she did.

I’m not sure he did want an alibi. His wife would surely have provided one.

the gf went out of her way to contact the police and repeat the overheard doorstep conversation which she didn’t have to do.

Chowtime · 02/04/2023 09:01

He didn't have a wife. He had a girlfriend and a woman he was having an affair with. I'm not sure who he was having an overhead conversation doorstep conversation with, but he went into affair womans house and stripped naked and put all his clothes in washing machine.

Thats how I'm interpreting it anyway. I appreciate others may know more, have more local knowledge.

QuintanaRoo · 02/04/2023 09:13

Sorry, girlfriend not wife. It was the affair girlfriend who overheard a doorstep conversation where he was talking to another bloke about the botched shooting and mentioned the target by name. Then when the affair gf saw on the west who the intended target was she knew it was him who was involved.

Parsley1234 · 02/04/2023 11:05

The person Cashman was talking to was the affair gf boyfriend who is going to trial later this year for aiding him. I would like to think I’d be as brave as she was but his she was between a rock and a hard place turn grass and go under witness protection leaving your whole life behind or prison. As a side note under WP do you have a choice where to go

mummywithtwokidsplusdog · 02/04/2023 11:29

I think the ex lover was extraordinarily brave…. Think most people in that situation would remain silent and hope for the best. Seems unlikely that he would have been in court without her testimony? Her life is forever changed. I hope she is safe and will always know she did the right thing. That poor girl and her family 🌷

GuiltyPleasure · 02/04/2023 11:32

The affair gf's boyfriend has already pleaded guilty to assisting Cashman. He was in court in October & he's due to be sentenced soon.

I think you are well aware og the wide spread drug use in the UK.

You're seriously sanctimonious for someone who isn't necessarily in the right, @JackiePlace

Before clicking on this I knew what she would look like. Very classy 'Kayleeanne'. I live in Merseyside and these trashy people are everywhere.
