Nobody deserves a baby

I find it mad that 70yr old men can just start a new family. Even Boris j nearing 60. Maybe he'll have yet more when they split up again.

I'm sure someone will rock up and say age shouldn't matter, but it is incredibly selfish to have a child that late in life. The child will barely know him.

Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

But his wife ‘deserved a baby’ so that’s alright then 🙄

So much wrong with this. I always gasp when I see ‘progressives’ who always want to be seen to be on the ‘right’ side , so at ease with buying a woman’s body and buying a baby, totally unaware of the hypocrisy. Of course, I always find those who try to be ‘right on’ to have zero self awareness.

Makes me feel really uncomfortable…. A bit like Priyanka Chopra saying she and her husband had such busy schedules that they didn’t have time to make a baby hence they too used a surrogate…. I just can’t understand how they can justify this. Entitled I guess x

Yes I also found this shocking. The level of entitlement to another woman’s body is astounding.

Another one I couldn’t believe was Jamie Chen and Bryan Greenberg. She said she didn’t have time to take a break from her “career” and then announced that she had post natal depression after their surrogate gave birth to twins. 🤯🤯🤯🤯

I'm very very cautious of surrogacy. But the age of the parent isn't a huge thing in my opinion. It sounds like JS had a dreadful relationship with a fairly absent father, and was then shipped off to prep school, so I can see why he's not horrified by the idea of his child only having 10-20 years with him. My mum was 38 when she had my youngest sister, but then she died anyway when she was only 55.

This 100%. No-one (IMO) should becoming parents past the age of 42, let alone bloody 75. Acquiring a child at 75, is outrageous and disgusting and cruel. So cruel. Poor child. His wife is nearly 50 FFS! Should be a law to stop this.

you can’t know what will happen to you when you’re younger but you know for sure you don’t have many good years left in your 70s. It’s absolutely irresponsible and cruel to the child

God 75… imagine. Both my parents were younger than that when they died. No one should become a father at that age. I wonder what his other children think about it.

& to be fair, at 48 his dw has watched that ship sail past. She's well past the point where she would expect to conceive naturally, & her dh is elderly...no. Focus on the dgc.

YANBU. I hate surrogacy. It’s human trafficking. Jon Snow should be ashamed of himself - as should Liz Kendall, who became a mother through surrogacy at 50.
