My DH doesn’t have the legs, but at least this guy is not wearing lipstick and a wig, and dresses his top half like man. His wife helps him choose the clothes.

I wouldn't let him out the door.

If he insisted on humiliating himself, me and our children?

Divorce. No problem and no discussion.

ConsuelaHammock · 10/03/2023 13:46

He looks ridiculous. But with great legs. I wonder why his wife didn’t get her pic taken with him?
I don’t see clothes as genderless.

ootb · 10/03/2023 13:46

I wouldn't like it on my own husband but I wouldn't feel too strongly about someone else wearing it. After all, high heels were originally invented by/for men.

GrinAndVomit · 10/03/2023 13:46

I wouldn’t find it attractive.

NewCarOldCar · 10/03/2023 13:47

Looks a complete dickhead butt then I'm not a "cool wife" 🙄

ConsuelaHammock · 10/03/2023 13:47

He’s got some kind of shoe or leg fetish ?

Mischance · 10/03/2023 13:48

Let him wear what he likes - who is harmed by this?

Not great for his spine of course with those shoes, but otherwise: his body, his choice.

Cherry2010 · 10/03/2023 13:48

I can no sooner imagine my husband doing this than flying to the moon on a winged pig, but if I was married to someone who wanted to do it I’d probably not find it very appealing, no.

NewCarOldCar · 10/03/2023 13:49

but

Then again, he looks an arse too

I wouldn't be happy and I wouldn't assume he was alright. I would question if he was on board with the marriage and what was so wrong that he had to express it like this. Nobody here would be happy if their husband got up like that tomorrow morning for work and the school run.

I absolutely wouldn't care

OMG12 · 10/03/2023 13:49

Up to him but wouldn’t find it attractive tbh

TheFireflies · 10/03/2023 13:49

I honestly wouldn’t care what my husband chose to wear.

glasshole · 10/03/2023 13:51

My husband often wears a Utility kilt in the summer and I think it's amazing. He loves it and his work ban shorts but allow kilts 😂🤷🏼‍♀️. He really rocks it, he's got an edgy vibe anyway and has a long biker type goatee and a shaved head. Our teenage kids were a bit hesitant at first but tbh them and their friends know that we dance to the beat of our own drum anyway. I'm heavily tattooed and wear bright colours so it's just accepted now.

I think clothes should absolutely be gender less. Anybody should wear whatever takes their fancy. Same with hobbies. Same with kids toys. And careers. And everything really.

Whatamieventhinking · 10/03/2023 13:53

I always wonder why there is always so much amazement around how wonderful a guys legs are when they dress in a skirt.

It’s not even the dress that bothers me. The clothes aren’t gendered. It’s the weird fawning response, that women would not get (or give to other women) wearing the same outfit.

Hartlebury · 10/03/2023 13:53

I'm impressed he has the stamina for heels, I don't. He's got cracking legs as well.

ArabellaScott · 10/03/2023 13:53

ConsuelaHammock · 10/03/2023 13:47

He’s got some kind of shoe or leg fetish ?

Yes, and involving unwilling others in a fetish is not cool.

Whatamieventhinking · 10/03/2023 13:55

ArabellaScott · 10/03/2023 13:53

Yes, and involving unwilling others in a fetish is not cool.

Yeah, I think that’s why the fawning bothers me. I feel like those women heaping on leg adoration don’t realise they are participating in his kink.

bonzaitree · 10/03/2023 13:57

I would dump my OH because I would find it extremely unattractive.

he has the right to wear what he wants. I also have the right to be in a relationship with who I want!

ImAGoodPerson · 10/03/2023 13:57

I don't really understand how people can say skirts and stillettos are genderless. There are loads of clothes that are genderless but they are not. I really can't understand what is so shit about women that there can't be such thing as women's clothes. I am proud to wear womens clothes, I also wear lots of genderless clothes which I like. I would like to see more neutral clothes available, anything that is a hoodie, tshirt, trousers, shorts doesn't really need to be a specific gender but honestly I cannot imagine that there will ever be a day where 4 inch stillettos are considered general neutral clothing.

pointythings · 10/03/2023 13:57

It suits him, but it isn't a style I like on men or on women. I'm a sucker for a man in a utility kilt though. And yes, they look good on women too but I am very straight.

HikingforScenery · 10/03/2023 13:57

I showed DH the photos from the thighs, before showing him the upper body. Muhahaha

MarshaBradyo · 10/03/2023 13:58

Whatamieventhinking · 10/03/2023 13:55

I’m with you both.

maddy68 · 10/03/2023 13:58

His legs are amazing !

Hydrangeatea · 10/03/2023 14:00

It would be the end of our marriage - he looks ridiculous

TheMainWoman · 10/03/2023 14:01

No, it is not for me. I would not be in a relationship with a man who dressed or wanted to dress like this.
