My DH doesn’t have the legs, but at least this guy is not wearing lipstick and a wig, and dresses his top half like man. His wife helps him choose the clothes.

He looks a dick and is going to wreck his feet. Good legs though😂

GobbieMaggie · 10/03/2023 12:39

He doesn't vote labour.

Energydrink · 10/03/2023 12:39

I think he looks good - but I am not ‘attracted’ to the look. Soo know, I wouldn’t be up for my husband to dress like that

Wnikat · 10/03/2023 12:39

Would love this not to be news.

*no

Whilst he does have fabulous legs, I’m afraid that I see that as “bring your fetish to work”. For so many years transvestites had a hard job of convincing the world that dressing in women’s clothes was a sexual turn on, but once they came under the Stonewall umbrella, their tune has rather changed to their clothes being a representation of their inner self.

Whilst I think clothes can be genderless, and, being Scottish, a teenage New Romantic, and travelled across Asia, I wouldn’t think twice about a kilt, sarong with flat sandals, or a bit of eyeliner and lippy. However, there is something about certain combinations of clothes being worn whilst declaring freedom of expression that make me roll my eyes and think “aye right”. He may cite Kiss as his influence but I’m pretty sure Gene Simmons wouldn’t be wearing a 4 inch stiletto heel to perform on stage.

BoredOfThisMansWorld · 10/03/2023 12:40

On this guy? I'm extremely happy for men to broaden the accepted presentation of being a man. I wish more would. It is only an issue if they pretend it makes them magically not a man, because that's astoundingly regressive as well as inaccurate.

On my partner? Skirt absolutely. He has great legs.

Heels I'd question. I've gone off heels. I don't really think they look cool on anyone unless you're going for a specific vibe from a particular era or fancy dress maybe. But every day? Nah. My partner and I both like trainers. If he stuck heels on I'd assume fetish and I find fetishes a bit dull.

davegrohll · 10/03/2023 12:42

I'm just imagining my big burly husband dressed like that 😂😂😂 in all seriousness, fair play to him if he's happy, but I do think there's some kind of fetish going on there. And I agree his wife didn't want to be named for a reason.

ColinRobinsonsFart · 10/03/2023 12:42

Not that keen on the look but my DH has been known to wear a bit of eyeliner - which I always think is rather lovely!

SomePeopleAreJustBloodyStupid · 10/03/2023 12:43

No, I'd tell him to stop looking stupid

Readabookgroucho · 10/03/2023 12:44

People should wear what they want. End of.

TheBadLuckOfTeelaBrown · 10/03/2023 12:44

He must be a shoe fetishist because no one in their right mind wears heels like that every day.

tealflower · 10/03/2023 12:44

Good on him for wearing what he wants and not conforming to gender stereotypes.

BreviloquentBastard · 10/03/2023 12:44

He's got great legs, hope mine are that good in my 60's

I think my husband would look absolutely ridiculous dressed like this, but if it makes this man happy and his wife/boss/clients/colleagues aren't bothered, then more power to him.

Does make me think of that old Moneysupermarket ad of the bald chap with the booty and heels though.

CamoFlamingo · 10/03/2023 12:45

I guess clothes are clothes and should really be genderless but...I could not have sex with a man who dressed like this.

SnappyTheCrocodile · 10/03/2023 12:45

DH look great in a kilt so it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest.

5128gap · 10/03/2023 12:45

No I wouldn't.
I'm not attracted to men wearing stereotypically 'feminine' clothing.
I would also make certain assumptions about the personality of a man dressing this way (and going to the press about it) that would make me feel we were no longer suited.

OheeOheeOh · 10/03/2023 12:45

My lesbian maths teacher dressed like that 25 years ago, she had a very similar figure too. It's a very dated look, he clearly has no idea. I'd assume it's some bizarre fetish wearing such short skirts and heels like that, I mean long floaty skirts and midi/max dresses, are more now, but I guess that doesn't appeal to his fetish.

I wouldn't put up with my husband dressing as a woman from the 90s, or indeed in current women's fashion, I married him (amongst other reasons) because he's a man and acts/looks like one.

Somanysocks · 10/03/2023 12:45

I think it's just a matter of time before he says 'I'm a woman'. There's no way this isn't sexual for him.

Also, if I was his wife my fanny would clamp shut.

noimaginationforausername · 10/03/2023 12:46

No I wouldn't be happy and it would be a massive dealbreaker for me! Also his poor kids must get the shit ripped out of them if they are still school age!

pollykitty · 10/03/2023 12:47

I wouldn't care. I feel quite strongly people should be allowed to wear what they want. Skirts and high heels being thought of as womens wear is a gender construct. And men actually decided that they should be worn by women, not women. Also, to me, he looks conservative. He's not wearing revealing clothing. That bothers me a lot more - the pressure on young women to have their bodies on display - than a man in a skirt.

JustDanceAddict · 10/03/2023 12:48

He looks good but if pmsl if my dh did this with his hairy legs and grim feet 😆

Beowulfa · 10/03/2023 12:48

I've seen some exceedingly hot men in skirts/kilts with long hair and eyeliner. They looked cool, but also like they don't care if they're cool or not.

I get the impression this guy would be disappointed if he didn't get any comments on his carefully contrived 80s receptionist look. Also, feet give me the ick, especially bunions and deformed toes from deliberately stupid shoes.

Schmutter · 10/03/2023 12:49

No. It would be a deal breaker for me. Bit good luck to him

frustratednomad · 10/03/2023 12:50

If my DH looked like that I wouldn't mind him dressing in a skirt, sadly he looks nothing like that (although he does have better legs than me).
