To think a brazillian wax is not what I got here?

First brazillian in 10 years (post kids) finally got round to booking myself in and finding time to go fab! Researched the salon (my previous waxing specialist moved counties) all seemed well.

My understanding of a brazillian wax is all hair front, back (between bum cheeks) and inbetween removed bar a small 'landing strip' of hair on the pubic mound.

What I got was very..... Odd

No hair left on the public mound, hair on outer labia (the bit on the outside next to the thigh crease) removed, no hair removed from the back and a 'tuft' of hair left in the cleft of my pubic mound.

This is wrong isn't it, or has the meaning of brazillian changed in 10 years?

I just paid and left (yeah I know) but it's a weird confrontation to have with a stranger about where you have hair 😂

You shouldn't have paid up and not said anything. I don't get waxed but just googled it and obviously what you asked for isn't what you got. So if your question is what is a Brazilian wax then it's probably easier to just type it into Google 😂

She did seem like she was rushing and if I'm honest I think she got to the allotted time for the appointment and just finished up.
Alarm bells should have rung when I was not greeted at the reception desk rather left waiting whilst they all gossiped loudly in the back for 5 minutes past my appointment time.

I am annoyed because part of the reason for the appointment was so I could start feeling a bit sexier again as brazillian is my preference (DH doesn't care)

I agree with you op. There’s not a lot you can do about it now though. I wouldn’t be complaining on social media about it, or getting my fanny out to show the manager to put a complaint in 😬 I’d take off the little bit they’ve left (definitely doesn’t sound right), and just go somewhere else next time. It’ll grow back soon enough, your oh will appreciate it as it is, and if you’re like me you’ll feel a million times better with all of it off than on.

Ring them and say you're not happy, you'd like to come back in so they can get the missed bits and you'd like to see someone experienced with Brazilian waxing, get them to whip those missed bits off.

I’d ring up as say you got home and realised bits missed. They should reschedule and finish more throughly for free.
