Just wondering. I’m jealous of people in good health with high energy levels. I want to be that kind of person so badly 😫

OP posts:
materialgworl · 12/01/2023 18:37

People who I see on a run.
People who can swim.
People are quick with witty replies 😂 I always think later!

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 12/01/2023 18:38

People who are naturally thin.

People with a daughter (I know that makes me a massive prick).

AnneLovesGilbert · 12/01/2023 18:38

Not jealous as such but I’d love to have nice in laws.

People who like driving.

ByeByeLouisByeByeKlaus · 12/01/2023 18:39

People with really involved parents. You know, the ones who can’t get enough of their grandchildren etc.

WeWereInParis · 12/01/2023 18:39

People who seem at ease in various social situations, can talk to anyone, good at small talk etc.

Bonjovispyjamas · 12/01/2023 18:39

People who have close families, would love to know what that's like.

HamHand · 12/01/2023 18:40

confidence. I have a permanent critical inner voice full of self doubt and anxieties and I envy people who don’t have that. Also echo above poster who says a close relationship with their parents. I envy that greatly

TwoMagnificentLabradors · 12/01/2023 18:41

Not jealous as such, but like PP, people who are confident in unstructured and new social situations. I’m not shy in my professional role or with friends, but give me a room to work and I’ll be seeking refuge in the loos.

Poppins2016 · 12/01/2023 18:41

People with houses that are larger, cleaner and tidier than mine (annoyingly, half the battle re 'clean and tidy' would be solved if my house was bigger = more storage)!

downnew · 12/01/2023 18:41

People who like all foods. Especially those who can eat loads and stay slim!

TwoMagnificentLabradors · 12/01/2023 18:42

Isn’t it interesting that the things people seem to envy aren’t stuff, but relationships?

Penguinsaregreat · 12/01/2023 18:45

Inherited wealth.
Naturally thin people.

It is interesting...

After I made my post, I realised that what I get most utterly green with envy about is two people I know who have absolutely amazing groups of friends that all have each others backs.

After years of depression and anxiety my social circle has dwindled and I lack energy to make connections with people (especially having small children and no sleep), so my physical surroundings have probably taken on more importance than I would previously (or ideally?) place on them...

Shirty48 · 12/01/2023 18:48

People who have a normal relationship with food and who are a healthy weight.

mrsbitaly · 12/01/2023 18:49

People who laugh alot I wish I wasn't so serious
People who travel around the world
People who are confident
People who dare to go on bug rides
People who can drive
People who have great fashion sense

I'm jealous of alot of things 🤣

mrsbitaly · 12/01/2023 18:49

Big rides I mean not bug rides!

Blossomandbee · 12/01/2023 18:49

People with normal, close knit families. The kind that spend time together and genuinely care for and support each other.

People with cast iron stomachs who can eat anything they want.

Mrsjayy · 12/01/2023 18:50

People who can sing I "'hate'" them and wish I could sing '!

Tearsndears · 12/01/2023 18:51

People who are accepted immediately

Budsofmay · 12/01/2023 18:51

People who have close friend/family social circles, with people who just pop into their house (inclusive of venetian blinds, minimalist scandi aesthetic) they go on regular holidays with said people and they're totally at ease and cool with constant socialising.

Also women who have all the gear, yoyo zens, designer snow boots, vejas, military liners etc which they can easily afford and effortlessly look fabulous in. Also women who don't need make up. Like how is that fair?!

Fortunately and touch wood me and my family have our health. If we didn't then people who did would be the only thing I would really be jealous of as good health is all that truly matters...

LilacRain12 · 12/01/2023 18:52

Physically attractive
Those with loving and supportive partners
Those with family who accept them and are kind
Who have confidence and a laid back nature
No chronic illnesses

Don't have any of that

HangerLaneGyratorySystem · 12/01/2023 18:53

I envy peoples abilities whether it be the ability to sing or the ability to take a massive punt on a business and see it thrive or start again if it doesn’t. I find I think less of myself as I can’t do some of these things.

tiggergoesbounce · 12/01/2023 18:53

I get a pang of jelousy when i see mums, nanas and grandkids all together. I know my mum would have continued to be an amazing nana

wilddreams · 12/01/2023 18:53

People who don't blush. I go bright red at the drop of a hat and it's the bane of my life.

ShellyOverSeas · 12/01/2023 18:53

Women who seem to love being a mum and enjoy their children's company.

I love my child unconditionally but I really find being a parent hard.

The guilt and shame is dreadful 💔
