Just wondering. I’m jealous of people in good health with high energy levels. I want to be that kind of person so badly 😫

Really well defined back and shoulder muscles.

converseandjeans · 12/01/2023 20:37

People who could take time off work when their children were babies & toddlers.

People who don't have to work at all & have enough fun money to enjoy themselves.

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 12/01/2023 18:38

People who are naturally thin.

People with a daughter (I know that makes me a massive prick).

I think research has shown that ‘people who are naturally thin’ are actually people who eat less calories.

Giggorata · 12/01/2023 20:42

People with good health and excellent teeth.
People without a morbid imagination, without major phobias and without alopecia
Women who are slim with good breasts, nice hands and nails
People with enough money not to worry, to have fun and and a nice lifestyle.

MrsMiddleMother · 12/01/2023 20:46

I'm jealous of home owners and have a spotless house

byvirtue · 12/01/2023 20:48

Specifically the woman who wrote a book using my name so if I ever (never) write a book, my name is taken!

Women in the Caroline Girvan Facebook group who do her workouts and look mind blowing incredible. I do yoga and am slim but I’m not toned (too lazy).

D20 · 12/01/2023 20:55

Women who ‘have it all’ even when I know they don’t and lots of women probably look at me thinking that I have it all already!

I realise how blessed I am and how much I take for granted reading this thread.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 12/01/2023 21:05

Nice homes
Good family nearby.
Parents ofC hildren who can and will get themselves ready in the morning.
People who somehow have the brain power to make good decisions in good time.

SayMyNameProperly · 12/01/2023 21:05

I'm envious of naturally thin people and / or those who like exercise and / or don't have a large appetite and / or love healthy eating and / or don't like unhealthy foods.

Do you detect a trend here?! Grin

whoamI00 · 12/01/2023 21:08

wealthy, bilingual, stylish, artistic

MrsRandom123 · 12/01/2023 21:16

People who have their mums & big, close families with loads of kids growing up together.

my kids have no grandparents, no cousins etc & i always feel bad for them & will admit to the odd pang when i see their Christmas or holiday photos on social median

JustDanceAddict · 12/01/2023 21:17

People who have a big, close extended family.,

PartySock · 12/01/2023 21:19

People who have a close relationship with their parents and all their siblings as adults
Those who can always think of things to say to make people feel better in any situation. I just sit there like a statue!

LoopDiL00p · 12/01/2023 21:26

I'm jealous of people with no health conditions to worry about. I have a chronic illness which can make day to day life challenging at times. I'd love to be able to go about my day and really enjoy life without it being on my mind all the mind.

Losingmymind85 · 12/01/2023 21:28

People with decent neighbours
People with means to throw money at problems.
People who are coping mentally.
Not been a good week.

the80sweregreat · 12/01/2023 21:30

People who are competent drivers of any type of car
People who hold down a worthwhile career
Those who can knit , use a sowing machine or make their own clothes / curtains

SocksAndTheCity · 12/01/2023 21:32

People with an amazing talent, whether it's singing, playing an instrument, dancing (especially ballet) or gymnastics, or who can speak lots of languages.

I know that a lot of it's down to rigorous training and incredibly hard work, but I mean those who have a real gift that I couldn't touch even if I practised twelve hours a day, every day.

Also very rich people who don't have to work and can spend their time however they choose.

OnceUponAWar · 12/01/2023 21:37

Those naturally confident people!

I've always said I dream of spending a day in the head of [actual person I know]. They're someone I actually do think the world of and admire in many ways - but that's not why! It's because they have this seemingly natural "I'm okay - and if I sometimes screw up, I'm still perfectly okay. My default self-perception is that I'm good, intelligent, likeable, and that I have a lot of things to offer to this world" type of attitude.

As someone who's inherently self-critical and will fret over every minute detail I get wrong I just imagine that it must be so ... relaxed ... to be more like that person!

Phos · 12/01/2023 21:38

People who find parenting easy (or just have easy kids)
People who have a sporty type hobby they like and are good at

Phos · 12/01/2023 21:39

Oh and of course people who have so much money they'll never have financial concerns and don't really have to work. Especially those who've married into or inherited it to be honest as they've not really earned it either.

Finewine76 · 12/01/2023 21:39

People with a good memory

wineandsunshine · 12/01/2023 21:43

People who don't have to 'worry' about money.

It's the constant budgeting that gets me!

Oh, and also people with perfect teeth 🤣

the80sweregreat · 12/01/2023 21:46

Actors (only because I wanted to be one when I was six. )
I'd love to be able to sing
Slim people
Those that can wear heels. How can they do this so easily ?

leli · 12/01/2023 21:49

Penguinsaregreat · 12/01/2023 18:45

Inherited wealth.
Naturally thin people.

Me too!

Hoosebag · 12/01/2023 21:55

I'm not really a jealous or envious person which I'm glad about because I think it can make people very unhappy to feel that way. I have a friend who struggles with it and it does cause her pain but it also does spur her on.

When I was much younger I thought I was envious of a friend or frenemy but really I was just very hurt by her treatment of me.

Of course I wish I was prettier or more successful or fitter at times but I don't envy those things in other people. I have other weaknesses but mostly I understand that nobody is perfect and everyone suffers so really there is nothing to envy as your just swapping one set of problems for another. Also maybe I'm just pretty content with my lot and would feel differently in different circumstances. Also I do just want to be me, not anyone else just a better version of myself!
