fruitbrewhaha · 11/01/2023 22:21

They also;
Have children
speak to each other
spend money

ZenNudist · 11/01/2023 22:22

Love this

Magenta82 · 11/01/2023 22:22

What on earth do you mean by perishable items? I bought some kiwis today does that count?

AdoraBell · 11/01/2023 22:22

Hmm we read and buy perishable foods. We’re close to being skint.

Oh dear, I’m afraid it does. Read all you like, you purchased perishables and are, therefore, a total povo.

Taswama · 11/01/2023 22:23

Hobbies can be free / cheap or really expensive with lots in the middle.

Penguinsaregreat · 11/01/2023 22:23

I’m also intrigued about the perishables.

Justcallmebebes · 11/01/2023 22:24

Well I read a lot and have several hobbies but am in no way rich. Not sure what you mean about perishable items

EmmaEmerald · 11/01/2023 22:25

Today I bought bananas, tomatoes, and apples. I also read a book for about 20 mins. I have no idea what these habits have to do with… well, anything really.

FourTeaFallOut · 11/01/2023 22:26

Be born into money and stability and then pretend your good fortune is down to abstinence of shop bought coffees, enjoyment of reading and driving an old car?

EmmaEmerald · 11/01/2023 22:27

Oh hang on
maybe this is about growing own veg? But I don’t think anyone at my local allotment is wealthy. Though they wouldn’t advertise it I guess 😂

ShillyShallySherbet · 11/01/2023 22:27

I’ve noticed wealthy people don’t have brand new things. They will have antiques and really old stuff they’ve had for years or passed down from wealthy relatives.

Exactly. Stop with the perishables and get yourself a hobby (reading doesn't count, that's a separate wealth indicator).

When will people ever learn about the goddamned perishables?

I think you mean foraging and snaffling road kill, growing your own veg is just so extravagant.

Appleandoranges · 11/01/2023 22:31

I think op meant wealthy people likely to afford things that last. Don’t think they read a lot. People who read a lot tend to be a bit dreamy. People who make lots of money tend to be practical and savvy.

JustWhattheDoctorOrdered · 11/01/2023 22:31

More habits of the wealthy:
using legs to walk
Sleeping at night
Having hair

Comedycook · 11/01/2023 22:32

Are you confused about what perishable means? Do you mean they don't buy goods that which lasts five minutes and instead buy really good quality ...you know like they don't buy fast cheap fashion but do buy quality cashmere?

FourTeaFallOut · 11/01/2023 22:32

Marrying your cousin to keep the money in house?

habits would be exercise particularly more extreme eg climbing Everest rather than couch to 5k & Wellness eg tea blessed by a monk that boosts immunity

Abitlosttoday · 11/01/2023 22:39

This is the sort of thinking that I've only experienced when very, very stoned. I like it. It's some serious nonsense.

confusedcentral5 · 11/01/2023 22:41

They are just the ones wealthy on paper, the ones with the cash flow buy, buy, buy.

KateisanAngel · 11/01/2023 22:42

Travels to exotic places for luxury holidays.
Buys expensive well made clothes.

KimberleyClark · 11/01/2023 22:43

I think wealthy people probably feel less need to constantly redecorate their homes to fit in with every passing house fashion.

I never decorate if I can avoid it. Still not wealthy.
