to wonder if a 5’7 female is ‘big’

I’m a 5’7 and a half female, in your completely honest opinion do you think I’m tall or average height. I feel massive and huge next to every other girl, don’t wear heels ever and hate it.
im just under 9st and feel I just look like this absolute giant.
I never am called tall by anyone but believe I am.
In your opinion is 5’7-5’8 ‘really tall’ for a female

I raised an eyebrow at "half female" as well. You never know these days if someone is actually saying that seriously!

I would say you’re tall - but then I’m definitely short! Objectively, I bet 5’7” is about one standard deviation away from the average, so you’re tall, but not super tall. I doubt you’d stand out in a room full of people for your height, if that makes sense!

Uk average height for females is 162cm iirc. So yes with 170cm you are above average. Not something spectacular, but above, yes

UK Average height 5 ft 5, I believe. You are taller than average for the UK. I personally don't think people look tall unless they are 5ft 11 and over.

Yes the last time I checked...but don't hold me to that as I haven't checked in a very long time, although I still think so.

I'd consider it quite tall but not massive. I'm 5'2 but I don't feel particularly short.

I'm 5'10. I don't think of 5'7 as being tall, just a bit over average.

I love my height. I wouldn't like to be called 'big' though. Tall is fine; I'm not big.

I'm 5'10 and have quite a few friends who are o the taller side so don't notice it much until I see my 4'11 friend!

I'm the same height as you and would say we're above average height but not tall.

I'd say I'm taller than about 75% of my female friends.

I am a 6ft -and a half inch, 12 stone female (Dutch German heritage, and it shows)

Now I do sometimes feel big, but I quite like it. In my 20s I'd used to wear heels. Just because it's fun to intimidate men with my height you'd be surprised how many men like tall women

I’m 5’ 9”. My SIL is 6”. I see lots of women taller than me when out and about. I don’t feel
particularly tall these days. My 12 year old is at least 5’ 4”.

I was wondering what a half female is too??!
I am 5'6" so not that tall but my 4 closest friends are all 5'0-5'2 when I am out with them I feel huge!
I like my height though.

I'm the same height and yes it's tall (not as tall as my mother in law keeps telling me) but it's too short for tall clothing.

I'm 5 7 and weigh around 10 stone. I think I'm above average height, but I don't think I am tall at all. Maybe you have a group of particularly short friends? I like wearing heals from a height perspective but don't unless going out.

My MIL is about 5 foot and DH's sister is not much taller. When i've spent the day with them i feel like a bloody giant and MIL does like to bang on about how teeny teeny tiny she is and how tall i am (i'm 5'5) so i know how you feel OP.

When i'm back home with my lovely DDs and 6ft DH i feel normal again.
