To not be able to stop thinking about the Idaho murder case

Is anyone else following this case? It’s absolutely horrible and has really scared me to the point of locking my bedroom door when I sleep every night! The more that comes out in the news, the more bizarre and confusing the case seems to get too. So scary to think what people are capable of 😞

I think he went in and out of the sliding glass doors on the first floor, which it’s thought (in everything I’ve read/watched) were simply not locked.

GorgeousLadyofWrestling · 12/01/2023 15:03

There’s a post on Reddit about door locking and lots are saying they never do. Also saying that sliding doors are really easy to open when locked. I had heard that in the UK as well - that you need something to jam them shut. So it’s possible it was locked and he was able to open it - might explain the burglary charge? I don’t know anything about charges so just purely guessing.

It’s also possible that the 12 other times he went by the house, he was trying to get in and this time the door was unlocked (another theory from Reddit).

That's a great point they are super friendly dogs aren't they and would absolutely be used to people coming and going , also I read he is a strict vegan so would presumably like animals/ he looks a lovely dog too.
I read the neighbours ring camera picked up just a bark so he must not of been barking throughout , I find it really odd kaylee would of kept him shut up in a unfurnished empty room too, she shared him with her ex so obviously loved him a lot
If he has cleaned his face , changed clothes in the house etc he really worked fast didn't he

foxlover47 · 12/01/2023 15:20

Was he there after the delivery driver or did he go in the sliding doors when the front door was answered ? It was reported the front door was wide open the next morning but Dylan said he left through the sliding doors

UnhappyAcademic · 12/01/2023 15:26

I read one door had a number lock which half the campus knew but I’d imagine that would be the front, bottom door, not the sliding one.

dylan only started getting mentioned more once the statement came out that she had seen the person. Prior to that it was thought both she and Bethany were on the bottom floor and slept through it. Sounds like Bethany was the only one on the bottom floor.

What murder case? Not heard of one.

Confused

And you skipped through ALLLLLLL of the replies to come and post this?

foxlover47 · 12/01/2023 15:33

Xanas dad had changed her lock so do the bedrooms have individual
Locks coz I guess then it makes more sense for the sliding doors to be unlocked

Toddlerteaplease · 12/01/2023 15:47

@NotAnotherBathBomb from reading the posts, I couldn't quite work out what had happened. As they all assumed prior knowledge.

Anothertiredmom · 12/01/2023 16:17

Has anyone considered that maybe the car circling the house before the murders apparently took place was actually him being dropped off by someone? So he could have been there a lot longer than 16 minutes if he was dropped off earlier and picked up. The circling could have been someone seeing if he was finished/outside or whatever. He did ask if anyone else had been arrested so there may well be someone else involved in this

I don't think so because Dylan saw him leaving around 4:20am which fits the timeline of the cctv of him leaving. The car didn't arrive in the area until shortly before 4am (according to cctv).

Anothertiredmom · 12/01/2023 16:40

@justgettingthroughtheday ah okay, I’d read that he drove past a couple of times and turned around in the road twice before stopping there. If that was all after 4am too then that cuts his time to even less than 16 minutes which is just crazy!!

There seems to be a divide of people who think that there is someone else involved because it was so vicious with a short timeline and people who think he did it alone Because it’s unlikely they’d have not arrested them at the same time as BK to avoid the person/s from getting spooked and going into hiding or leaving the country.

MynameisJune · 12/01/2023 16:42

With regards to the blood, there’s pictures online of the outside of the house where Xana’s room was located and there looks to be blood running down from her floor over the concrete foundations.

Anothertiredmom · 12/01/2023 16:45

@MynameisJune ive just seen that photo. Jesus Christ that is actually horrific. Those poor girls waking up and finding that. The poor officers. It’s a real life horror film

foxlover47 · 12/01/2023 16:59

So June 26th 9am is the date set for his preliminary hearing

I really hope that they didn't see too much. The scene was apparently horrific. I hope they both get the help and counselling that they need and this horrific murder doesn't ruin more lives.

I hope DM and BF are well protected from the crazies speculating online as to why DM didn't call 911

I think he did but I don't think the vehicle stopped. I too struggle to see how he managed to kill 4 people in such as short space of time, in pairs, with multiple other people in the house. And then leave the scene without apparently leaving any blood trails!
It doesn't add up!
But equally having another person there would have doubled the risk of DNA transfer and for two people to leave the scene without trace would be close to impossible.

JoyPeaceHealth · 12/01/2023 17:14

I dont know if anybody can conclude that "it doesn't add up".

He trained for this particular "challenge".
It takes seconds to stab somebody and he was there for about 15 minutes.

I doubt it takes seconds to stab someone whilst restraining the other person in the room! I wouldn't know as I have never done it!

I don’t think it’s crazy to wonder how someone in the same house, hell across the hallway in the same house, didn’t hear/wasn’t aware of four horrific murders taking place while wide awake from their own testimony!

I would be interested to know why the people living in the same house as the victims were discounted as suspects? Because they’re female? They would normally be the prime ones and this case does not add up with BK being the killer. The simplest answer is normally the correct one after all. Someone absolutely hated Kaylee to do what they did to her. I thought people were saying BK targeted Xana and Maddie from the restaurant they worked at and he went to. Kaylee didn’t work there. We only have Dylan’s testimony on the masked bushy eyebrow guy leaving the house. No other witnesses to corroborate. Frankly it stinks.

Flame away.

I saw a video earlier explaining how exhausted killing someone would actually be. I won't go in to gory details but A LOT of effort has to go into it! To not be in your normal surroundings, to not know who is awake and who isn't etc (there are many small factors that add up time wise) would slow you down and then to commit the murders which would be very physical given the state of the house, in 16 minutes is quite quick even though it feels like a long time.

ImprobablePuffin · 12/01/2023 17:48

@WakeyWakeyRiseandShine Not flaming but I assume if the police cleared the other housemates it was for good reason - that they firmly believe they were not involved.

I think it does add up that it was BK if you read the affidavit it does have some pretty damning findings. Whether he was alone or not remains to be seen.

Also I believe it has been said that there's a good chance Kayle was the main target rather than the girls who worked at the restaurant unless BK thought she was Madison - in the dark they could look similar, both long blonde hair, similar height etc

Anothertiredmom · 12/01/2023 17:55

Have you seen the photos from the hearing today? He has fresh cuts on his face, anyone know what from? My guess is he’s been attacked in prison

GorgeousLadyofWrestling · 12/01/2023 17:57

@MynameisJune and @Anothertiredmom i think that’s been disproven as being blood because there’s photos of the house prior to that with the same stains and common thinking is that it’s rust or something.
