To think LadBaby song is awful?

I’ll start by saying I quite like LadBaby and often laugh at their couples challenges.
Didn’t mind their sausage roll songs, wouldn’t bother listening to it but Xmas number ones are all about being silly so not a problem.
But this food aid song I find really awful. I know there’s a cost of living crisis and there’s a number of people really struggling in the U.K. but there’s also a lot of people who just moan about the prices whilst sitting in a warm pub with their five quid or whatever drink, or in a warm office or in a nice house with two cars on the drive etc and to compare that with people actually starving in Africa is just awful.

I haven't bothered listening to it. I used to like them a lot but I read the other day (I seemed to have missed this as it happened in September) that he was caught touching up a woman in a club (it was filmed by someone). Certainly looks like him and they didn't deny it. He's really gone down in my book now and I have no desire to watch them anymore.

It isn't supposed to be award winning composing, it is supposed to raise money for food banks.

Food banks should not be necessary in a first world country. I hate that this is necessary but the government are bastards and we aren't due a general election so ........

It's awful to sing about food banks. Donate directly to a fb if you want. Don't buy the single they make money from it. They are making money from this.

My friend was collecting tins for our foodbank in a supermarket at the weekend. Ladbaby was in there and refused to even meet her eye.

He's a waste of space and has ruined music. The fact that he keeps getting to #1 just shows how poor music is nowadays.

I haven't seen the latest, but weren't the previous ones about stopping the ubiquitous X_factor winners reaching Christmas No1? That ship has sailed over the horizon now. Time for some genuine talent to have a go.

Good to see people finally seeing them for what they are though. Chuck a few quid in your local food bank and stream Whams last Christmas, it’s currently the best bet to keep them off number one.

Errrr, hang on a Minute!! Whilst I totally agree with the majority of the dire rewrites, I will not hear a word against Band Aid 2 from 1989!! Matt Goss and Jason Donovan absolutely nail Bono’s line!! Swoon! 😍

They're complete grifters who have made millions from selling merchandise related to their sausage roll shite songs. Only the profits from the songs go to the food bank charity which seems to be a minuscule amount compared to what they actually get given.

Every single one of them has been awful. I’d much rather a decent song made it to number one.

And the cynic in me tells me that anyone with an influencer type career such as them does it primarily to up their status, views and earning ability in the subsequent year as opposed to raising money. On the other hand I have to remind myself that the proceeds do indeed do some good.
