I'm home alone today. I've warmed up some tinned mixed beans and mixed them with Ainsley's spicy cuppa soup and a Heinz tomato cuppa soup. I'm lazy aren't I? Not usually this lazy and enjoy cooking I just really cba.
Eating this in a bowl.
Any Royle family fans, this is cuppa soup with a big twist 🤣

I just found left over bolognaise in the freezer reheated that and ate it with a spoon 🤷‍♀️

EndlessRain1 · 13/12/2022 14:20

I sometimes heat a stock pot, add a satchet of miso paste and some udon noodles. noodle soup in about 1 min! can add peas/ sweetcorn/ other easily accessible veg as available.

Threadkillacilla · 13/12/2022 14:20

Cheese toastie in air fryer with mushrooms and a bit of other leftovers. Under six minutes for a feast.

MechanicaHound · 13/12/2022 14:21

Oven chips, fried egg and beans

BeastOfBODMAS · 13/12/2022 14:21

A Lidls garlic pizza bread.
It’s like a pizza for when you’re too lazy to decide what toppings you want.

gonelululemoncrazy · 13/12/2022 14:22

WFH due to trains, chees slice on toast (too lazy to even bother to grate cheese) and a table spoon of nutella for pudding.

AffIt · 13/12/2022 14:23

Do crisps count?

CuriousMama · 13/12/2022 14:23

They both sound fab. I often take noodles to work for ease. Mixed with cuppa soup. There's a theme here isn't there? 🙈

I do really enjoy cooking but can totally get my single friends who say they just can't be bothered a lot of the time.

We have a chip shop at the end of the street so might force myself out to get something from there later? Dh isn't home until very late.

Can of tuna. Can of red beans. Sliced green/red onion. Boom, salad!

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 13/12/2022 14:25

Packet noodles. The hot water does all the work bar a languid stir for five minutes.

JusteanBiscuits · 13/12/2022 14:26

instant noodles,, drop an egg on top, microwave for 2 more minutes.

ShakeItOff40 · 13/12/2022 14:27

A bowl of alphabites or potato smiles covered in salt and ketchup.

The kids don't eat them anymore as they're 'too cool' so I buy them purely for me.

Or pancake with beans and sausages from a tin.

OH or a crumpet with beans and sausages from a tin.

This is even better if you stir a plastic cheese slice into the noodle broth.

That's Cordon bleu if you sliced yourself 😉

Microwave rice and cheese over the top. 2 mins from conception to belly.

Mmmm beans and sausages from a tin. Love em!

I'm truly impressed by some of these. My laziest meal (cheese on toast/ pasta with cheese and tuna) has way more steps.

Isseywith3witchycats · 13/12/2022 14:33

Today leave my office walk over the road and buy jacket potato with butter and cheese walk back to office and eat

Coconutmangoprune · 13/12/2022 14:33

Cold beans out of a can

theswoot · 13/12/2022 14:35

Instant ramen noodles with a boiled egg, a two egg omelette with a bit of pre-grated parmesan, scrambled eggs on toast with hot sauce, spaghetti hoops on toast, peanut butter on toast, pasta and pesto or spaghetti and marmite!

Redcrayons · 13/12/2022 14:35

Cheese omelette, don’t bother grating the cheese, just cut into smallish chunks. Handful of lettuce on the side of the plate and you’re done. If I’m feeling fancy and I’ve got some in, I’ll throw some spinach leaves on top before I plate up.

slightly less lazy because you’ve got to wait for the chips to cook, chips, eggs and beans.

I haven’t had instant noodles since I was a student. I might have to investigate.

ReviewingTheSituation · 13/12/2022 14:36

Spaghetti and marmite. It's a Nigella Lawson recipe (in How to Eat).

Pelo22 · 13/12/2022 14:36

Cereal Grin
Sometimes I add banana

MedievalNun · 13/12/2022 14:38

Tin of meatballs in tomato sauce - throw in (lazy already) chopped garlic or whatever; serve either with microwave rice or the quickest pasta. This may or may not have been my tea last night
