I'm home alone today. I've warmed up some tinned mixed beans and mixed them with Ainsley's spicy cuppa soup and a Heinz tomato cuppa soup. I'm lazy aren't I? Not usually this lazy and enjoy cooking I just really cba.
Eating this in a bowl.
Any Royle family fans, this is cuppa soup with a big twist 🤣

Rediscovered tinned Ravioli which I hadn't had since I was a kid. It was as delightful as I thought it would be.

Tin of chicken curry! Amazing :-)

As there seems to be a lot of noodle love on this thread, I was going to say that any time I have any leftover chicken curry, I like to stir it into a packet of Maggi curry flavour noodles, but if you have tinned chicken curry to start with, you could also use that.

Blueberrycreampie · 13/12/2022 14:45

Sliced peppers- frozen ones from Iceland are good, frozen mixed veg - micro'd eg Birds Eye Steamfreah, some left over chicken - all warmed together in a pan with a little oil and then some Siracha sauce and some Soy sauce. Serve with microwaved rice. Takes longer to type it out than cook!

Lndnmummy · 13/12/2022 14:47

Tilda microwave rice and a tin of chili tuna
spaghetti with garlic oil, black pepper and Parmesan
pitta bread toasted with any leftover ie chicken, tuna, meatballs.

JE17 · 13/12/2022 14:48

Pot Noodle and a packet of biscuits for pudding

shinynewapple22 · 13/12/2022 14:50

Marmite on toast
Peanut butter on toast
Peanut butter and marmite on toast
Peanut butter and jam on toast
Cheese on toast (that one's slightly more effort especially as I often have with a tin of tomato soup)

DashboardConfessional · 13/12/2022 14:50

Bachelors Pasta N Sauce on toast. With a bit of black pepper. Cheese, leek and ham flavour preferred.

blackpearwhitelilies · 13/12/2022 14:51

I have a boiled egg and toast soldiers about twice a week.

Janieread · 13/12/2022 14:52

Anything green, sliced up and stir fried with garlic and soy sauce. Any leftover chicken/pork/tofu chucked in. A fried egg on top. That's lunch and a Proper Meal.

If it's the evening meal and I am alone, then a large glass of wine and some buttered toast.

EndlessRain1 · 13/12/2022 14:52

This thread is making me feel so hungry!

I love a cheese toastie too. That's also the easiest meal ever isn't it? 2 slices o bread and some cheese as the basis and just add whatever else you have around to jazz it up a bit.

Stardustkid · 13/12/2022 14:56

@ShakeItOff40 love potato smiles. I have been known to walk across the road to the store and get microwave chips (they sell them insingle packs) and tin of sausages and beans. Sausage beans and chips in the microwave crap day crap food pure yum

CuriousMama · 13/12/2022 14:58

A friend gave me a crimpet. They're pretty good too for easy snacks. Can put leftovers in them too. I use them in toaster bag.

Spaghetti and grated cheese. Childhood comfort food and I still live it. I stick a veggie stock cube in the pasta water if I'm feeling fancy.

HarlanPepper · 13/12/2022 15:02

Two boiled eggs peeled and sliced onto hot buttered toast with a sprinkle of salt over.

AdaColeman · 13/12/2022 15:03

Pouch of any microwave rice with "bits" eg Caribbean flavour, stir in chopped sardines or tuna or smoked mackerel. Heat & eat.

Cheese sandwich in a toaster bag. Toast & eat.

Asian style noodle soup with stock, noodles, leftover cooked chicken or ham, any left over vegetables or salad leaves. Heat in the microwave, add soy & chilli sauce.
Gyozas work well in this too, I usually have some in the freezer.

Mauhea · 13/12/2022 15:08

Spaghetti with tinned mackerel, bonus points if the fish was warmed through in the pan with a big knob of butter.

Bollindger · 13/12/2022 15:11

In my slow cooker.
Bag casserole frozen veg.
New potatoes
Meat,
Sauce mix, pack. Top of in slow cooker.
Cook for 8 hours. Cost £10 makes about 5 or 6 meals.

PaniniHead · 13/12/2022 15:13

Tinned spaghetti, cheese melted in to it and toast

Needsomethingtoread · 13/12/2022 15:14

Microwave rice, x2 eggs, splash sesame oil and loads soy sauce. Chucked in frying pan. Amazing egg fried rice. Total comfort food in 5 mins

Lottle · 13/12/2022 15:14

Mozerella on top of taco chips. Microwaved for about 1 min. Bbq sauce. 😀

LadyOfTheFliessssss · 13/12/2022 15:19

I stick a Big Soup in a foil tin, sprinkle it with chicken Bisto, salt and pepper, maybe some chili flakes and then add a dollop of marmite. Oven it for fifteen minutes and then throw the foil tin away when I'm done with it. Bonus is the lack of washing up afterwards.

takealettermsjones · 13/12/2022 15:20

Melt a spoonful of butter, add a crushed garlic clove and fry. Add a cup of veg stock. Give it a sec then add fresh tagliatelle. Leave it (stirring occasionally) until all the liquid is absorbed and then eat.

It takes five minutes and it's genuinely delicious.
