I'm home alone today. I've warmed up some tinned mixed beans and mixed them with Ainsley's spicy cuppa soup and a Heinz tomato cuppa soup. I'm lazy aren't I? Not usually this lazy and enjoy cooking I just really cba.
Eating this in a bowl.
Any Royle family fans, this is cuppa soup with a big twist 🤣

I know you said solo meal hut it's exactly what I'd make for myself if I had the energy. It's a solo meal by proxy Grin

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 13/12/2022 21:10

Cereal is the laziest of all that I would have.

Lazy but fancy is a baked Camembert with some bread 😀

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 13/12/2022 21:11

A jacket potato with cheese or cheese and beans or coleslaw is also a favourite.

Anything can be made healthy by eating a whole raw carrot with it on the side.

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 13/12/2022 21:18

I may have posted this before BUT...#

Fresh white bread, spreadable cheese and crunched up Tayto crisps. The dinner of gods.

RoseJam · 13/12/2022 21:20

Scrambled eggs + salmon
tinned veg curry + uncle ben's packet rice
Pasta + tuna + mayo
toasted cheese + chopped chilli (put chillis on toast first and cover with cheese until they are hidden so you get a surprise chilli kick whilst eating)
baked beans + curry powder + scrambled eggs

I haven't had that in years! Drizzle of balsamic vinegar on topSmile

Also nice with rubbed black eye beans instead of red beans and lemon juice!!

Flamingflames · 13/12/2022 21:29

Tinned not rubbed 😂

CoffeePleaseNotDecaff · 13/12/2022 21:32

Crisp sandwich 😂

JustAnotherDayWorkingAtHome · 13/12/2022 21:35

Jacket potato with cheese.

Eckelbloodyfecken · 13/12/2022 21:41

Cacio e pepe

Cook pasta of choice. Drain. Into dry pasta pan melt butter add freshly ground black pepper. Toss pasta in. Add a good handful parmesan/pecorino and dinner is served.

BelenaConhamHarter · 13/12/2022 22:13

Baby potatoes steamed in the microwave, flaked ready cooked fish of choice, mayonnaise and left over snipped herbs. Salt and pepper.

Works just as well with a can of fish in tomatoes sauce or chilli oil or similar - but maybe lose the mayo.

Rice pudding straight from the tin.

I'll often be half way through before I decide it would be more civilised to heat it up.

Half cold and half warm is the best of both worlds.

BelenaConhamHarter · 13/12/2022 22:20

Also, frozen peas, garlic paste, chicken stock, boil up and whiz in the blender with seasoning. Left over ham slices in there too.

Pea and ham soup in five minutes.

determinedtomakethiswork · 13/12/2022 22:32

Toast a bagel, and while it's cooking chop an avocado, some cherry tomatoes and some feta. Put them in a bowl with some chilli flakes and sea salt and pepper. It takes about two minutes.

I do similar but with a can of mushy peas (non minted) and a small can of ham. Easiest soup ever.

HippoRaine · 14/12/2022 00:54

Olive sourdough loaf from the co op, good sea salted butter and pate. Big glass of ice cold sauvignon blanc. I'm a great cook but after 25 years of cooking family meals EVERY NIGHT I can rarely be arsed now the children are grown and flown and I now work stupid NHS shifts. Bliss tbh

Youdoyoubabe · 14/12/2022 00:55

Cheese toastie in air fryer with mushrooms and a bit of other leftovers. Under six minutes for a feast.

How do you make a toastie in the air fryer?

Pasta beans and cheese, the ultimate comfort meal

I combined pasta and beans once and never heard the end of it from my then boyfriend who thought I’d lost my mind! Glad to hear others do it too.

crisp sandwich

I pop a bit of peanut butter in a crisp sandwich if I’m feeling posh.

RobertaFirmino · 14/12/2022 01:35
