General election tomorrow - who do you vote for?

I'm so sick of this government and reading a lot of the posts on here, it feels like on the one hand, so are lots of people, but there are also lots of other people who are very sceptical about labour or lib dem or greens. Added to which, there are so many issues at the moment, I know there's a lot of GC and what makes a woman, that is particularly important at the moment, and cost of living, private rentals, the environment, etc etc

So knowing what you know about the parties, if there was a general election tomorrow, who would you vote for..

YABU - Tories
YANBU - Labour
Comment for a third option

I used to be green, but I'm so not sure any more. So I think I'd vote labour, to stand best chance of keeping Tories out. (What I'd really like to vote for is a more representative government)

None of them I have never seen such a shower of incompetent deluded shite in Parliament in all my 48 years. Votes were hard won over centuries for ordinary working women and men so I refuse to waste mine on any of the current encumbents.

Jourdain11 · 26/05/2023 23:33

Nobody - I don't vote!

StayingZenInTheVipersDen · 26/05/2023 23:35

I truly dislike all of them.

I studied politics and value the fact I can vote, but I genuinely don't know if I would vote at all in a general election tomorrow. Or I'd vote for someone so unlikely to get in it wouldn't matter.

Marie2023 · 26/05/2023 23:36

I would vote for The Party of Women if they had someone standing where I live.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/05/2023 23:37

The party that will evict the Tories in my constituency.

The party that will evict the Tories in my constituency.

I would do the same if I lived in a Conservative seat.

This, except 49 years!

This

I won’t vote. I’ve always voted Tory but can’t bring myself to next time round. However I also have 2 DC at private school and can’t afford the 20% VAT in school fees. If it wasn’t for that specific, niche policy, I’d vote Labour.

thistimelastweek · 27/05/2023 00:30

Lib Dem is the strongest anti-Tory contender round here so I'd have to go with them.

AngeloMysterioso · 27/05/2023 00:32

Fuck knows. I’ve voted Labour, Lib Dem and Green in the past but there’s absolutely no chance I’d vote for any of them now and hell will freeze over before I put an X next to a Tory candidate’s name on a voting slip.

ThinWomansBrain · 27/05/2023 00:39

same as always - spoil my ballot paper & write that I want to live in a democracy and for my vote to matter.
Sitting labour MP has a 70% majority - I am a member of the labour party, but I desperately want a democratic voting system.

Anonymouseposter · 27/05/2023 00:42

I will vote Labour I suppose but not with as much enthusiasm as I have in the past. I want the Tories out of office but I’m not impressed with the current Labour Party . I will vote with a weak hope that they will improve things.

MintJulia · 27/05/2023 00:43

I genuinely don't know. I think for the first time, I'd have to spoil my ballot paper.

And that upsets me. 🙁

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 27/05/2023 00:48

I could only give a positive vote for SDP because they are the only ones not TRA captured.
Never understand why they don't shout louder.
No rep in my constituency so spoil it is.

Nat6999 · 27/05/2023 01:00

Labour, I'm a lifelong Labour voter & a member of the party.

caringcarer · 27/05/2023 01:05

I've voted in every GE since my 18th birthday. This time I won't vote. I won't vote for a stupid person who thinks women can have a penis e.g. Starmer and Davies. I won't vote for Tories as I really don't like Sunak. No one else to vote for.

MistyGreenAndBlue · 27/05/2023 01:15

As things currently stand it'd have to be Tory. No way am I voting in any fool who thinks (or pretends to think) that human beings can change sex.
That's Labour, Libs AND Greens.

I don't care WHY they're saying it anymore. Only a complete reversal on ALL this nonsense will change my mind.
And, unfortunately, only the Tories will keep them out.

This...Tho I've been around for 51yrs. They're all a shower of shite!

verdantverdure · 27/05/2023 01:31

I'll vote tactically for whoever can win this seat who isn't a Tory.

Topseyt123 · 27/05/2023 01:39

I'd vote for anyone most likely to erode the majority of the sitting Tory MP in our constituency. Though there is virtually no chance of ousting her, unfortunately.

ToWhitToWhoo · 27/05/2023 03:07

LibDem as a tactical vote against the Tories, and because I like my LibDem MP. If I lived in a different constituency, it would likely be Labour. No way would I vote Tory, especially right now.

ThirstyThursday · 27/05/2023 03:14

I want something that conveys 'none of you' better than just a spoilt vote. There isn't a party to vote FOR.

mrshenny · 27/05/2023 03:14

Labour, I want the tories out, however I also want labour to show up and bring something to the table. Hopefully they will
In the lead up to the election. But they have my vote anyway!

Lemieux3 · 27/05/2023 03:15

I'll be voting Labour. Most likely to unseat the Tories in my constituency
