If I can, that is, barring being taken short or being on holiday?

OP posts:
TerfQueen · 20/10/2022 19:15

I mean 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you gotta go you gotta go?

Bettiespaghetti · 20/10/2022 19:16

Eh? Why would you not? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Royalbloo · 20/10/2022 19:17

No, that's what toilets are for.

Always makes me laugh when someone comes into the toilet and says, "OMG it STINKS in here!"

Yeah, this is the piss and shit room, not the kitchen - what do you expect?!!!!

Poo wherever and whenever you need to, imo x

NoMoreShit · 20/10/2022 19:18

YANBU!

ivykaty44 · 20/10/2022 19:20

I was thinking what about holidays? 😂😂

I just go to the loo when I need

there is a TikTok about why you should just go

That is exactly what a toilet is for. I go when I need to go - I don't have much choice in it. I've never understood people who can keep it in until they are home. I remember my DH going to Drs once and expecting an anal exam. He came home after work for a poo. I was amazed he could just go at will! Mine come when they are ready and when they are ready, they don't wait long!

Changethenamey · 20/10/2022 19:21

I can’t either OP! My body closes up 😂I can only go at home or my parents house (lucky them). I used to go 5 days camping without going at all!

Dollydea · 20/10/2022 19:22

I have crohns so don't have much choice but I absolutely hate it! I used to physically hold it until the point I felt as though I was going to pass out if I didn't go, stopped eating out and cut outings short.
I gave in last year and started using the disabled facilities, I get loads of the inevitable dirty looks and the odd rude comment, but I'm passed the point of caring now. 😊

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 20/10/2022 19:23

The only place to sit is on your own throne imo

Not everyone makes toilets stink though! Lots of us are like the OP and routinely do the stinkers at home.

BMW6 · 20/10/2022 19:23

Weird as fuck

hagridsbeard33 · 20/10/2022 19:27

I wish I had this problem. It would be nice to have a choice. Alas, my irritable bowel means when I gotta go I gotta go. I've got used to public loos now, I actually rate them. I like our local library ones best as they are massive and very well ventilated 😂

OriginalUsername3 · 20/10/2022 19:27

If its not affecting your life then go for it. I gave that up when I went to uni, I spent so much time at the library to lectures to lab, not to mention one toilet between 6 people.

RaininSummer · 20/10/2022 19:28

Sorry OP but I think that is both weird and impractical.

A580Hojas · 20/10/2022 19:32

I don't like the belittling of people who feel like OP. It is what it is and very common.

I drove home from work recently to use the WC. I made an excuse and am lucky I only live 10 mins drive away. I completely sympathise OP.

FixitJesus · 20/10/2022 19:34

I couldn't care less. If I need to go, then I go. Not any other options really.

Beachbreak2411 · 20/10/2022 19:39

Only work and home. Nothing better than a good poo and getting paid for it too 😂😂

Lovinglife45 · 20/10/2022 19:40

I do number 2s at home, when on holidays or hotel breaks. Not at work or friend's houses.

I go like clockwork every morning before showering.

You lied to your work so you could go home in order to use the toilet instead of the one at work? 😳if I were your boss you'd be on a warning. How ridiculous. I hope you made up the time you spent bunking off.
I honestly don't understand people like this at all. If you need the toilet then use a toilet!

ivykaty44 · 20/10/2022 19:40

Wearing masks has its advantages

Hoppinggreen · 20/10/2022 19:41

I generally only poop at home. It’s not really a choice, my bum just goes “nope”
I figure it’s an evolutionary thing as we are vulnerable when we poop.
If I am on holiday that’s “home” for a bit so my bum seems to find it acceptable

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 20/10/2022 19:42

Not to belittle OP and others in the least - the problem is the many bullies who will gossip, criticise and loudly judge others for the 'scandal' of using a toilet as a toilet. It's the equivalent of sharing the 'shocking' revelation that somebody drove their car on a motorway.

novacaneforthepain · 20/10/2022 19:42

Question for you all

Would you mind if someone came to your house, someone you didn't know too well, and they done a poo in your toilet?

I am genuinely curious as I always have to poo everywhere I go Grin

BlueEyesUltimateDragon · 20/10/2022 19:43

I can't either OP, I really struggle! I'm not even particularly secretive or private or embarrassed by it, I'll happy say I have to go for one but apparently my bottom just doesn't like other toilets as much! Every time I visit family I end up backed up for a few days, I've started eating fibre bars in the run up to try and keep more regular but without fail I won't poo for at least 2 days if I'm somewhere else (or I have the poops of course!)
I've always been the same and probably don't have the most regular BMs anyway so it is just normal for me. DH however, has to go for a poo almost as soon as we arrive anywhere, like marking his territory 😂

ivykaty44 · 20/10/2022 19:44

youd really not take someone’s mental Heath into consideration? It wasn’t bunking off, it was performing bodily functions and for some this is obviously difficult.

perhaphs first you might think about finding solutions to the problem rather than going straight for a discipline
