OK, not to my face. But following the non-binary Joan of Arc play they’ve shared a ‘terfs stop being transphobic challenge’ referring to anyone who doesn’t believe in gender identity as a bitch.

It’s a shame. I’ve been to some amazing plays at the Globe. But they’ve made their position on feminists pretty clear, so I won’t be going back.

There’s quite a bit of poetry written by the opposition too. Just as badly written of course. There seems to have been some kind of madcap poetry war on Reddit between the two sides a couple years ago that I was completely oblivious to until I was trying to track down where the poem in this thread came from.

We are afraid that safe guarding is being broken because some people believe that and individual declaring themselves a women suddenly makes their likelihood to sexual offend against women the equivalent of a natal women.

The stats don't bear this out so the justification for maintaining safe guarding protections is there

I think what I do not get is the logic progression from some predators pretend to be TW to abuse/rape therefore we must deny actual genuine TW rights to live as women.

In all cases there are real safety concerns and lives on the line. No one is questioning that.

It’s only with transwomen that we aren’t putting our heads together and mitigating, managing or accepting this risk of a few nasty predators pretending to be TW. For example, don’t see why there cannot be TW only secure blocks/wings within womens prison complexes.
