Is there anything more repulsive than Boris Johnson pretending to give a shit about Ukraine?

Has he no shame?

And is there anyone stupid enough to fall for today's crass publicity stunt?

Why would you think that he doesn’t care? Just your own prejudice?

Keepingupappearance · 24/08/2022 17:41

It’s an easy last minute effort to pret be that the rise in gas and electricity prices are all because of the war in Ukraine rather than something that could have been effectively managed by him being a good leader

telegraph is delighted to get on board with the borisganda

JudithHarper · 24/08/2022 17:41

Boris Johnson may have done many things wrong but his stance regarding Ukraine has been bang on the money.

Blossomtoes · 24/08/2022 17:42

Obviously the answer to your question is yes @coffeerevelsrule. And in the very first post too. 😂

No, I speak from bitter fucking experience of living in the country he has been 'running' for the last few years.

I think he’d be better trying to sort out some peace deal instead of perpetuating an expensive and bloody war which we can’t realistically afford to fund.

Charity begins at home. He’ll let us all die of cold to promote his war gaming.

l am repeatedly asking myself if the Conservatives are deliberately trying to lose the next election. I’ve never thought this before. But the anarchy and craziness just goes on and on.

And what's that got to do with caring about Ukraine?

coffeerevelsrule · 24/08/2022 17:47

I think Johnson would be delighted if they lost the next election (it may be the one thing I have in common with him) as he would then claim they should have stuck with him. He gives no shits for anyone or anything apart from himself.

I support his position on the war. But it is very naive to think his position is because he cares about people or juditce

MarshaMelrose · 24/08/2022 17:47

Do you know more than the president and vice president of Ukraine? Both have said he's been their biggest supporter and advocate, so they obviously think he does give a shit.

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 24/08/2022 17:48

I think Boris would be delighted, but would Truss?

Shes a pile of shite too

Keepingupappearance · 24/08/2022 17:48

@MarshaMelrose the outcome of a policy does not necessarily reflect its driver

That makes no sense. You seem to just be basing it on the fact that you don’t like him.Are you yet another person blaming someone else for your issues?

There’s a lot of that about.

Is their anything more repulsive than people using the illegal invasion of another country to signal their distaste for a politician on the internet?

I don't think they are in a position to care about what his actual motives may be.

@Keepingupappearance

Careful, your prejudice is showing.

Theluggage15 · 24/08/2022 17:51

You just sound ridiculous OP. Apparently you understand what’s in the Ukrainian leaders’ heads as well as Johnson. Amazing.

I'm not commenting on the illegal invasion. I'm commenting on Johnson using that to distract from domestic issues and cast himself as a hero. But even if I am, if you object to one you must object to the other, surely.

I bet he does give a shit. He models himself on Churchill.

So you object to yourself then?

Theluggage15 · 24/08/2022 17:53

Why would Johnson need to distract from domestic issues?! He doesn’t need to give a shit about them anymore. You are aware he’s leaving are you?

TheWayTheLightFalls · 24/08/2022 17:53

Churchill, darkest hour, beaches, never surrender, never never never…
