Has anyone seen the recent tweet about her pawning/selling three diamond engagement rings? Aibu to think if you are pleading poverty and asking the general public to donate money one week and then showing off pictures of three massive diamonds you own the next, it's never going to go down well? Especially when you are already being challenged on lying and grifting?

For a long time I thought JM was nothing but a force of a good but I can't understand how she can be so tone deaf. It can't be deliberate but equally how can she not realise how it looks to produce three huge rings just a week after claiming she's so skint she needs handouts.

Apologies if there's already a thread on this.

I’d also never think that money cushioned against the loss of a child. Money makes a huge difference when it comes to caring for a child with severe health problems though and he took benefits and funding for things like respite care from parents who desperately needed it.

But then isn't that suggesting a two-tier system for medical care where only people under a certain income use the NHS and the rich use private care? I don't think that's the principle it should be run under. Because ultimately that turns into a stick to beat the poorer with and because everyone should pay in & be able to benefit from it. Provision needs to be there for all users, at the same level of care.

It shouldn't take away from anyone that his son was entitled to certain things. everyone should get the same. I don't grudge him NHS care.

I have sympathy for what JM said about it all, but it was a bit pot kettle to accuse him of using family members for a narrative.

JubileeTrifle · 29/08/2022 13:32

Not all services are available on the nhs, private healthcare only provides what it needs to.

I was awake early today and was quite surprised to see her tweeting that she's busy having sex with a new boyfriend. I know she'd been suggesting it obliquely, hence my PP - but to say it outright? And she said her child is also around this man already?

That's dangerously inappropriate on so many levels.

Really?

FlorettaB · 29/08/2022 13:37

I’m not talking about the medical care David Cameron’s child received through the NHS at all. I’m talking about the fact that unless you are very wealthy and can pay for someone else to be there, a parent needs to be with the child all/a lot of the time, be available for hospital appointments and therefore is unlikely to be able to work. This means surviving on benefits or one income. Benefits Cameron cut. This also means that the family is unlikely to be able to afford paid respite care so relies on respite care that is provided through local authorities. Cameron cut funding to local authorities which cut respite care.

@FlorettaB Oh! Sorry, I completely misread what you said, my bad. Am a plonker.

FlorettaB · 29/08/2022 13:42

No worries. I do that a lot.

Really?

Yes, really.

'I've just lost six hours to rolling around in bed and bliss after a surprise visit from my delicious new beau'

'the honeymoon period horn has no respect for circadian rhythms'

'he's a strapping man in his 40s'

'I'm gonna have to nix the shagging tweet before my mum finds it'

'housemate doesn't eat with us all the time'

category12 · 29/08/2022 14:01

She's also said SB googles her tweets as well.

Seems a bit silly. Especially when she knows people screenshot what she says a lot.

category12 · 29/08/2022 14:03

Maybe she fell off the wagon.

00100001 · 29/08/2022 14:37

AlexCabot · 29/08/2022 12:53

Please expand on this because IIRC she said that losing their son was easier for the Cameron's because they're rich.

Which is disgusting. I'm no Tory and certainly not a fan of Cameron but no parent should outlive a child and bank balances do not cushion the grief.

These are the tweets. Make of it what you will.

And she’s saying all this on the social media account she says she lets her child operate also?

Hmm

There is another "investigation" - not anonymous this time. Feminist on twitter - has referenced inconsistencies in JM's story..

Also as JM has had a lodger since last year why is she still not able to wash her hair - the lodger must be paying something surely?

I wouldn't pay rent if I had no lightbulbs either

A lodger, an OH and now a new boyfriend. That's even more changes for the child than I thought following an absence of months due to being an inpatient in rehab last summer.

category12 · 29/08/2022 17:24

I thought she wasn't allowed to sublet at one point?

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 29/08/2022 17:33

Where's the information about the lodger come from? She tweeted recently that she's not allowed to have a lodger and her landlord lives opposite so would know if she breached the terms of the lease.

Well, it's an interesting set up where she is apparently locked into a rental contract that goes on till next year, couldn't be ended but the landlord will let her move in a lodger. Said lodger doesn't seem to have made the financial situation any better, and also doesn't mind living in a place where the hot water is turned off and there are solar lanterns in place of lightbulbs.

JubileeTrifle · 29/08/2022 17:35

Yeah she said she was only allowed occasional overnight guests and her landlady lived opposite so she would know. So she couldn’t make money from a lodger.

ClaudineClare · 29/08/2022 17:35

What was she in rehab for last summer?

InternetRandom · 29/08/2022 17:36

She refers to them as housemate. Presumably landlord won't allow a lodger but is fine with a housemate. 🤔

category12 · 29/08/2022 17:38

Oh just did a search on Twatter - 13 hrs ago she said about a housemate. Confuddling, ain't it?

The backpedalling is ridiculous.
Shopping for 2 adults teenager average 42 meals. Actually it's a shop to be used with my stock. Actually it's more like one adult and occasional others.

My top up shops are less than 20 too...

They are healthy weight because they don't eat only what she tells others to eat

fiftiesmum · 29/08/2022 17:43

Some people just thrive in being listened to even when they have nothing to say.
