Legal ways to annoy a CF neighbour.

WIBU to ask for (completely legal) ways you got back at your neighbours? A VERY long story short, ours are CFs of the highest degree (violent towards us, and racist, and police have done diddly squat). Have done all the CCTV/security stuff. I'm not moving as love the area and all the other neighbours but I would like to make their stay as uncomfortable as possible (in a fun way, of course).Am thinking ugly gnomes, windchimes, learning the violin...Please keep it lighthearted!

I see your point. Anything we do (going into the garden, talking to our other neighbours etc.) pisses them off anyway (the racism thing again...) so might as well have a bit of fun.

It's not ridiculous. They have invaded the road and spent energy on trying to intimidate us. I won't stand for it.

They drive me insane too. Hence why I think it'll be a great idea...

Do what you have done with regards to security, etc and then I agree with the poster above. Don't give them head space. That is the best revenge 👍

Are they the kind that stay at home all day while you're at work?

Ultra high pitch or low pitch sound against their bedroom walls while you're out at work. As in viscerally perceptible, but inaudible.

I'm not sure there is a way. These people are usually really thick skinned and ignore anything that you try to do deliberately.

Breathing, on the other hand, might just do the trick.......

How have they 'invaded the road?'

If it's a public road, anyone can use it.

Oh I like this one. I've been using a bit of Beethoven to mask their swear-filled conversations, on a bluetooth speaker in the porch whilst I'm in the kitchen, and it drives them inside.

What ever you do be mindful of your other neighbours

The best way to get back at them is to have fun and live your best life

Bitter people are often incensed seeing their enemies thriving

I'd also invest in CCTV to be on the safe side, the more evidence you have of harassment the better chances of being taken seriously by the cops. If they still don't take your safety seriously I'd file a complaint and/or threaten to go to the papers or your MP

My - nice - neighbour and I regularly text each other plotting outrageous schemes that we would never actually do in revenge for our mutual batshit neighbour Grin Mme Batshit has pulled some seriously crazy shit on us both separately, and it's fun to let off steam Smile

I'm absolutely petty and funnily enough I don't care. They've moved in, parked their work vans across driveways, thrown condoms into our garden, threatened to punch me, let their dogs run at my elderly neighbour, thrown refuse into my plants, set up a camera to spy into our lounge (and the police can do nothing as there's no evidence they're using the footage illegally), broken part of our fence, play loud music in the garden, swear and fight when the children are trying to play. You sound like you're playing devil's advocate and/or you're a shit neighbour yourself.
