As per title.

She has said she will run in the leadership contest, would be a breath of fresh air.

OP posts:
Rosieposy89 · 07/07/2022 08:11

She is still a Tory though so that's a hard no from me

PurpleDaisies · 07/07/2022 08:12

She is absolutely useless. Have you actually seen her in parliament or being interviewed?

McT123 · 07/07/2022 08:12

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Good one!

Just in case you weren't joking she is compromised for her un-wavering support for Johnson's law-breaking and her own general dimness.

YDBear · 07/07/2022 08:15

Full marks to you for knowing who she is or anything about her. All the resignations on Wednesday and both me and DP were looking at each other saying “who?”

GrazingSheep · 07/07/2022 08:15

She gave her approval to the tearing up of the legal agreement that is the Northern Ireland Protocol. She is complicit in the government breaking - or threatening to break - international agreements.

heldinadream · 07/07/2022 08:16

No.
But I would be very interested to see it because she's involved - heavily involved - with a Buddhist group that I used to be involved with and left because they were frankly misogynist and corrupt. They have improved somewhat but I still don't trust 'em. And she's very embedded, as far as I can tell.

SunflowerGardens · 07/07/2022 08:16

Literally none of them are appealing. I really hope we get a GE out of this while it's still fresh in peoples minds what the Tory party are really like.

AnnaMagnani · 07/07/2022 08:16

Hi Suella!

Shouldbedoing · 07/07/2022 08:16

All of the above.

LEnferCestLesAutres · 07/07/2022 08:17

She has rubber stamped lawbreaking and dragged the office of AG through the dirt.

So no.

PurpleDaisies · 07/07/2022 08:18

This is clearly written by either Suella herself or someone who has not paid any attention to her career so far.

Kendodd · 07/07/2022 08:18

Oh please spare us!
My fear with Johnson leaving is that we'll get someone even worse after Johnson purged the Tory party of anyone even halfway decent. The complete and utter mess our country is in, so much of it is tracable back to Brexit. I bet Putin's delighted.

Also, I can't help thinking Johnson's loving all this drama.

SaintJavelin · 07/07/2022 08:19

Are you fucking kidding?

ColdColdHart · 07/07/2022 08:20

Noway.

Kendodd · 07/07/2022 08:20

GrazingSheep · 07/07/2022 08:15

Hows that going to put any Tory party member off though? That'll be a big plus point for them.

PermanentTemporary · 07/07/2022 08:22

She's the only Attorney General ever who wasn't a QC on appointment I believe, because she just wasn't at that level. She's been appallingly poor and has assisted this government to abuse the law for its own ends. I'm truly amazed to see that she genuinely thinks she has a shot at being Prime fucking Minister. Ridiculous idea.

Lochroy · 07/07/2022 08:24

Just had to check my diary as I thought it must be 1st April.

She's bloody useless.

Brushteethwashface · 07/07/2022 08:24

I‘m a solicitor and I instructed her a few years ago when she was a practising barrister. She was appalling, completely unprepared clueless and my client was furious. I put her on our firms Counsel list as “do not use”. I was horrified when she was made AG, and she’s done a pretty rubbish job of that. So no don’t agree.

Figgyroller · 07/07/2022 08:24

She's on R4 as we speak. She sounds like a complete idiot. I utterly fail to see how anyone can think otherwise.

Tigofigo · 07/07/2022 08:25

AnnaMagnani · 07/07/2022 08:16

Hi Suella!

You beat me to it ;)

She's a self serving, power hungry Brexiteer who is failing in her role as AG, let alone PM

Tigofigo · 07/07/2022 08:26

OP out of interest would love to hear why you think she would be great?

Tintackedsea · 07/07/2022 08:29

In what way is she a "breath of fresh air"? She parrots the same fetid nonsense as all the other pro Brexit, state shrinking Tories. There is no sense that this woman wants to change anything. She's as corrupt and self interested as the rest of them. Zero integrity.

LovelyRaita · 07/07/2022 08:32

I think we'll be seeing a lot of these posts today. Most started by brand new posters called NormalMumName or WorcesterValerie.

Zonder · 07/07/2022 08:33

That's so funny! As if! You'll be suggesting Smugg next.

riesenrad · 07/07/2022 08:34

Not a chance. She is very Brexity so that's a no from me. And she doesn't seem to have much grasp of the law, either.

However, if she stood in an election I guess Labour might win. Not that Starner is much better when it comes to Brexit, but he might not break the NI Protocol.
