Honest politicians are few and far between across the board. They all lie and screw the system for their expenses and they all do the dirty work for whoever pays them the highest price. No morals in Westminster and they don't have our best interests at heart.

Well, KS is obviously wrong on this subject, but it isn't a lie as such. It is an ideological statement, based on a definition of "woman" in terms of gender that I don't accept or agree with, but it is not a statement that is said with the intention of actually deceiving anyone.

Challenge this ideological nonsense, by all means, but let us not pretend that this is anything like the dishonesty that we have repeatedly seen in the shameless, squirming liar that we currently have as PM.

The two are not comparable. One is guilty of faulty logic and addled thinking. The other is guilty of a complete and utterly lack of integrity or basic moral decency.

I know which I would choose.

Unfortunately too many people are unaware about this so it is important that people are made aware.

For a lot of women even for those on the left women's rights are a deal breaker and so they will vote Tory.

You could say that we are helping the other parties to realise this and therefore doing them a favour.

Many Tory policies negatively impact women who are more likely to work in the public sector, more likely to be single parents with main/resident care, more likely to be carers to disabled family members, more likely to work in low paid job roles, more likely to be victims of domestic abuse, and more likely to be raped or sexually assaulted. Then there are the overtly sexust attitudes displayed by Tories, including Johnson himself who informed everyone that the best way to deal with advice from a female colleague is to pat her on the bottom and send her on her way. And lets not even start on the "rape clause" in benefit claim rules as part of the two child cap.

PS: I can promise you that you've been sharing your toilets with transwomen for years without ever realising it

PPS: new civil service guidance includes asking customers for their preferred pronouns and gender, remind me again which government is in power right now...?

The other parties will not give us single sex toilets which is a deal-breaker for me.
