But this is the crux of the matter. Trust and faith has gone. The only way anyone that isn't a rabid tory (yes, Janiie, I know you say you're not, but quite frankly, when it comes to that assertion you have as much credibility as Boris) can know the dude is more likely lying than not, is because his lips are moving.

I can see the parallels there (presuming you mean two not eleven and I’m not missing a joke? ) but I’m confused where parallels with a civil war are? Lots of civil unrest sure, but that doesn’t automatically lead to civil war. Revolution I could get onboard with.

I’m not really down with the whole ‘Russians and Chinese money meddling in the outcome of a democratic referendum’ thing but I don’t have any desire to completely dismantle the governing structure of the UK to replace it with another structure or set up an independent one. The current players are reprehensible but that doesn’t mean the whole system of government is fundamentally flawed and unsalvageable.
