To hope Johnson doesn't resign?

Because if he clings on until the next GE, he'll be completely unelectable and we'll be rid of the Tories.

I'm hoping he digs his heels in just like he always has, even though by rights he should be fucking off with his tail between his legs.

Labour left be country penniless, don’t you remember the infamous note in the tin?
I imagine the economy will entirely sink under Labour, and we will see a mass exodus of investors - so be careful with what you wish for!!!!!!!!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Do people really believe this rubbish?

apintortwo · 06/07/2022 11:28

Perhaps BoJo made mistakes.

But he didn't chicken out and led our country through very difficult times including Brexit and the pandemic.

Can you imagine some of the other bee gazers, who are afraid of their own shadow, constantly pandering to the latest lunacy being in charge?

We would have been utterly stuffed!

I want him to call an election and let the people decide.

I can’t support a coup

You need to check the definition of a coup...

Ganging up on someone? Do you like that better?

You know you're dealing with an intellectual titan when they use 8 exclamation marks in a row.

SleeplessInEngland · 06/07/2022 11:43

it’s been the same since Trump lost the election. Journalists moaning that there is nothing interesting to report on

I follow lots of journalists on twitter and I haven't seen a single one complain about that since 2016. They usually joke that they miss things being boring.

Are you serious? People resigning because they can no longer support a corrupt leader is not ganging up. This is not the playground.

This is how UK politics work, happened to plenty of PMs before and thank goodness for that, great they can get rid of ineffectual and grandiose leaders so quickly, let's not act like Boris is a victim, he's done plenty to get himself replaced!

Exactly. God help us if Starmer and his ragtag bunch of misfits ever get in.

Hey, you're back! You're going to have to work really hard with the Starmer whatboutery today, so much to distract from.

SueSaid · 06/07/2022 11:52

'This is how UK politics work, happened to plenty of PMs before and thank goodness for that, great they can get rid of ineffectual and grandiose leaders so quickly, let's not act like Boris is a victim, he's done plenty to get himself replaced!'

He has had a 24/7 mainstream media smear campaign going on for the last 2yrs all with the sole aim of getting shot of pesky brexity BJ.

SueSaid · 06/07/2022 11:53

'Hey, you're back!'

Back?

apintortwo · 06/07/2022 11:54

let's not act like Boris is a victim

Sure, let him do the dirty work and then discard him. Many of the others would have had a nervous breakdown if faced with a tiny fraction of what this man has been able to pull off

Summerwhereareyou · 06/07/2022 11:54

Conservatives have just done something on same sex loos.

There is absolutely no way labour would win any elections without sorting out their Stance on what being female means.

Also with momentum in the background would be llike voting in the Tories with the bloody bnp thriving in the party!!

SueSaid · 06/07/2022 11:54

'If Boris left or the Conservatives went what would breakfast tv do? They would have nothing to talk about.'

I know! Poor Suzanne and Lorraine who would they tut and eye roll about?

apintortwo · 06/07/2022 11:58

Conservatives have just done something on same sex loos

They are also not afraid to stand up to the increasingly dangerous woke nuttery

More bollocks. The reason for the dire economic situation in 2010 was a global economic crisis emanating from the US. The resultant recession slashed Treasury tax receipts by over £40bn. The note in the drawer is a long standing Treasury joke - It recalls a similar note left by Tory Reginald Maudling to his Labour successor James Callaghan in 1964: "Good luck, old cock ... Sorry to leave it in such a mess."

SleeplessInEngland · 06/07/2022 12:00

Lol, boris apologist sock puppet accounts out in full force today so you know things are bad. Glorious.

DuncinToffee · 06/07/2022 12:01

12 years of a Conservative government but what about Labour......

Law breaking and lying Tory PM, but what about Labour.......

Ad nauseum

Somethingneedstochange · 06/07/2022 12:01

Oh poor BoJo looks like he's aged 10 years. In other news he's been spotted in IKEA shopping for a new cabinet. 😂😂😂

SueSaid · 06/07/2022 12:02

'I agree though, Johnson knows what a woman is. They are people you fuck and leave (with bonus points for leaving whilst they are being treated for cancer).'

Her diagnosis came a year after their divorce announcement but don't let that stop your inaccurate froth.

apintortwo · 06/07/2022 12:04

The reason for the dire economic situation in 2010 was a global economic crisis emanating from the US

And don't you think there has also been a few global 'dire situations' for the last couple of years? Or is it only the Conservative's fault when it suits you

ClaudineClare · 06/07/2022 12:06

Even the bottom feeder Red Wall MPs are starting to crumble.
