Husband going to Glastonbury when I’m 35 weeks pregnant

My husband has been offered a chance to go to Glastonbury this weekend. He wouldn’t normally be able to go due to the nature of his work, but he’s got the weekend off.

Am I being unreasonable saying he shouldn’t go as I’m 35 weeks pregnant with my first child?

I’ve got gestational diabetes, had issues with reduced movements and discussing with my midwife if I’ll be induced at 38 weeks. So it’s not the easiest pregnant but I am aware I could still have 3 weeks before anything kicks off.

Op been in this exact situation. We are 4-5 hours away from glasto. I wasn’t terribly happy about it and insisted he leave me the car (we have one between us) however he went and was fine. He promised me he wouldn’t get drunk and that he would drive straight back if requested. It was all fine. I think I was 35 weeks.
you may well have other concerns about the dp but regarding glasto it’s not ideal but ok. He certainly should not be going the next few years. Unless you have exceptionally easy to care for kids. Go yourself next year instead!

Thanks @Frazzled2207
I sent him on his way last night and he’s there already. He’s been checking in every hour and I’ve got everyone’s number just in case of emergencies and he’s not contactable. He’s with a friend who doesn’t drink and has agreed to leave if he needs to come back ASAP.

So far so good, although the baby feels right on my cervix when I walk 😅
