So along with the first pm in history to break the law in office, we have an incompetent chancellor who can lose £11 billion pounds of taxpayers money, married to someone who has avoided paying tax on her millions and who has also broken the law while in government.
We have a foreign secretary who is determined to rip up international agreements over Ireland and a home secretary intent on breaking international law.

These are people who set the standards for the country and they are backed by 211 conservative MPs who seem to have no problem with the standards being set.

Words fail me.

Delighted to hear that the Rwanda flight will not be leaving. Nobody left on it!

She-devil Priti Patel is "very surprised" at the intervention of the ECHR, which reminded me of He-devil Boris Johnson being "very surprised" to get a Partygate Fixed Penalty Notice. It is a shame for both of them, isn't it?

For decades, I never judged anybody on their political beliefs and how they voted. Not even a little bit.

Now? I judge the fuck out of anyone who votes Tory. Knowingly voting for more cruelty, incompetence on a blindingly stupid level, blatant and constant lying, utter contempt for millions of people being pushed into poverty and all the rest of it is an attempt to help this vile, vile government slither through more years of the same.

They are an utter disgrace.

@WaitroseWoman I'm really pleased to hear this news!

Given all the fuss Boris Johnson, Priti Patel, Dominic Raab and others have been making, as they try to send refugees to Rwanda, about the recent intervention of the ECHR - European Court of Human Rights, nothing at all to do with the EU in case anyone is confused - here's another entertaining and illuminating video:

Take a look at this new video expose from Led By Donkeys on Twitter this morning:
Tonight the V&A museum is hosting the Conservatives’ lavish summer fundraising party. It shouldn’t be happening.

I wonder whether all the 211 stand by their vote of confidence now, after the Tiverton and Wakefield by-election results?

I wonder whether all the 211 stand by their vote of confidence now, after the Tiverton and Wakefield by-election results?

Unlikely, but what can they do ? other than voting against their own party in Parliament ?

This week's Private Eye cover, and we may want to cover our delicate eyes from the story about Johnson and Carrie inside...

The additional/real reason they wanted the story pulled from The Times about then Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson wanting his then mistress Carrie Symonds to be appointed to a £100,000 job: the 'compromising situation' an MP walked in on was Carrie giving Johnson a blow job on his office sofa.

BloJo.

Is Chris Pincher one of the 211?

All the signs are so, @DuncinToffee

Is it not generally accepted that if you have no confidence in the leader of your party you don't serve in the government, so if he had no confidence the right thing would have been for him to resign at that point.

Doing the right thing though of course being entirely optional at the moment in government.

WaitroseWoman · 07/07/2022 16:13

I was right all along. Wink

I wonder how many of the 211 would vote for Boris now? About 50?
