Why are they bothering?

They hate the UK, the RF, the whole institution and couldn’t wait to escape, accused the RF and British public of being racist, not welcoming Meg, or caring about her mental health. Her SIL even made her cry allegedly! They did a public interview about it being so hard being a Duke and Duchess in the UK that they just had to flee to a California mansion so they could be Royal there instead.

Do we as the public want to see them at a publicly funded celebration of our Queens 70 years on our throne? All they’ve done is embarrass the monarchy selling stories and their connection.

I totally agree with you and still am not convinced they will both come . Having said that , if HM wants all her family there I can understand why she invited them .

Am not a fan of them or the RF but if it was the Queen who wanted all her family present ,and an opportunity for her to meet the great grandchildren then I really don’t think it’s anyone’s business TBH .

It's the Queen's celebration - if wants her grandson & granddaughter-in-law to be part of it, that's her decision.

I think history will judge the way Meghan has been treated very different to how you describe it. I think Meghan and Harry have been painted as the bad guys to take the attention off Andrew's sex offences and William's affair.

No, Andrew gave interviews about it was all lies, he was misled etc. While knowingly mixing with pedophiles and using royal residences and transport paid for out of the public purse. Why you are minimising that is strange.

Harry has always been the black sheep and has always been highly vocal about his disgust for the press (and us as a population for buying it) and their invasion of his privacy. Ffs it was the press obsession with his mother that contributed to her death.

Why should he not flee a country that has had zero respect for him? He is a doting father and husband and he was hell bent on protecting that at all costs.

That said, if his Grandmother didn't want him with her for the celebrations then you can be damned sure he wouldn't be there.

Well, it’s for the Queen to decide. It’s her jubilee not mine. They are not going to greet people officially from the balcony, they are coming as members of the family.

It isn't up to any of us. If it bothers you that much don't watch any press coverage of them, turn to another channel, avoid clicking on any articles. If the Queen wants to celebrate with her grandson and his wife and family there it's up to her.

I don't think they should be banned, but I am surprised they are willing to attend. Given what they said about royal life, I'd have thought that a totally private relationship with members of the RF would be preferable to attending royal events.

Obviously it may be that they don't want to go, but are going because the queen wants them to, which would be understandable.
