To think Harry and Meg should be banned from the Queens Jubilee?

Why are they bothering?

They hate the UK, the RF, the whole institution and couldn’t wait to escape, accused the RF and British public of being racist, not welcoming Meg, or caring about her mental health. Her SIL even made her cry allegedly! They did a public interview about it being so hard being a Duke and Duchess in the UK that they just had to flee to a California mansion so they could be Royal there instead.

Do we as the public want to see them at a publicly funded celebration of our Queens 70 years on our throne? All they’ve done is embarrass the monarchy selling stories and their connection.

AIBU to think the Queen should have cut them orf?

[Yes, Andrew has massively embarrassed the monarchy as well but he didn’t flounce from the UK and give interviews about how the RF let him down.]

Yanbu OP. They’ve been totally disloyal to the Queen and the royal family. They should stay away imo.

Agree

No they should be entitled to go where they want to and Harry should be able to see his grandmother. Andrew should be in jail but then again a different topic. Why such hatred for him as he did the right thing to leave as the media so toxic in the U.K.

Lolliepoppie · 28/05/2022 23:44

They have both behaved like toe rags and I am in awe of the Queen for showing such forgiveness.

They aired the f*ing Oprah interview knowing Prince Philip was dying. Who does that at all to their family, let alone to their 90 year old granny? Utter pair of hypocritical twats.

Dweetfidilove · 28/05/2022 23:44

Hoping they do attend, the press will make it the Harry and Meghan show and folks will undoubtedly be here frothing again 😀😀😀

What a world we live in that marrying a mixed race women and protecting her from the press that killed his mother is a worse offence than being a lying pedophile.

saoirse31 · 28/05/2022 23:53

This is how royalty survives in the UK, the favoured members, in this case Andrew per op, can mostly do nothing wrong and anything they do wrong is excused, I mean I suppose op at least Andrews not black, r American....

Staffy1 · 28/05/2022 23:57

People can dislike someone for many other reasons than racism. To always shout racism is basically saying that anyone black can be the biggest prick ever and get away with it as anyone who questions their behaviour is labelled racist. People may have good reasons for not liking Harry and Meghan or bad reasons, but they are not all racist.

Despinetta · 29/05/2022 00:01

Harry’s main complaint was against the press not the RF. And it’s been the press that have presented this as primarily a falling out between Harry and the RF rather than as a refusal to cooperate with the press.

The idea of some random member of the public believing she has a clue what’s going on and criticising Harry based on what’s in the papers is simultaneously laughable and stomach-turning.

MrsTerryPratchett · 29/05/2022 00:03

All the people aren't racist or all the reasons aren't racist? I mean it's fairly bloody obvious some of them are.

ChiefWiggumsBoy · 29/05/2022 00:10

From a Royal Family perspective, I agree with you.

From a family perspective, especially considering the queen lost her husband and had to go to the funeral alone, I can see why at this stage in her life she probably doesn't want to take a hard stance and do what the GB Public think she should do. Harry is still her grandson and she has great grandchildren - she's a mother and a nanny as well as HRH Queen Elizabeth.

Snugglepumpkin · 29/05/2022 00:14

I don't want them to come back (because then they will be in the news even more) or to hear from them, but honestly, I don't want to hear about ANY of the Royal Family so that doesn't make them special.

I think it's obscene to be having this massive celebration when people are literally crying themselves to sleep hungry in this country.

Good on the Queen for being Queen for a long time, but all the fuss is just in poor taste.
Unless she is going to dissolve Parliament for being a sleazy conniving shower of excrement, or turn up in a Suffragette coloured outfit & announce that in the Queens English Woman means Adult Human Female, I couldn't care less about the Jubilee.

Rubyroseyposey · 29/05/2022 00:30

I really don't care about the royals tbh but it is shocking they face more condemnation than A-Its just gross really. The daily mail got upset because MM wore jeans at wimbledon for example - not really on the same scale as being best pals with a sex offender and being accused himself, is it? 🙄

locok · 29/05/2022 00:32

I thought they hated the press & the intrusion, not their family?

AIBU to think the Queen should have cut them orf?

I don't see why, lots of members of the RF have embarrassed the Queen. I don't understand why people take it so personally as if it's them who has been rejected.

paintingcolors · 29/05/2022 00:34

So you're okay with a paedophile being there to celebrate but not a couple who dared to speak out about how they were feeling ? Wow

paintingcolors · 29/05/2022 00:35

Oh apologies 'alleged' paedophile 🙄

Why do so many people think their views should override the Queens about who is there from her family? It baffles me.

This is why I would hate to be Royal, the weird ownership some people have. People have taken Harry's rejection personally because he's gone against the status quo. The public accept the antiquated idea of royalty, & the vast wealth & life of privilege but only if you play along, pretend to be down to earth & are humble & grateful.

Someone who takes a Netflix crew along to a site where 19 kids died isn't someone I want to see, thanks all the same.

This! Absolutely disgusting woman!

As far as Meghan going to Texas it was clearly all about the attention. If she wanted to pay her respect she could have done so privately or asked to meet the parents privately. This was all about her not those poor kids, anyone who says otherwise is deluded.

Bubblesandsqueak1 · 29/05/2022 01:28

Its his grandmother his blood family if the UK was not all anti Megan from the day they met because she is coloured and not British, his life was destroyed as a kid in front of the world he is protectinghis wife and kids what his own father failed to do with him instead he was dipping is wick in camilla, only 1 person should not be their and he should be locked up in prison kept in a black hole is Andrew he is a sexual predator and a abuser a trafficker,

Snog · 29/05/2022 01:34

I expect that the circus around Harry will hasten the fall of the monarchy.

Whether that's a good or a bad thing depends on your viewpoint.
