To think Harry and Meg should be banned from the Queens Jubilee?

Why are they bothering?

They hate the UK, the RF, the whole institution and couldn’t wait to escape, accused the RF and British public of being racist, not welcoming Meg, or caring about her mental health. Her SIL even made her cry allegedly! They did a public interview about it being so hard being a Duke and Duchess in the UK that they just had to flee to a California mansion so they could be Royal there instead.

Do we as the public want to see them at a publicly funded celebration of our Queens 70 years on our throne? All they’ve done is embarrass the monarchy selling stories and their connection.

AIBU to think the Queen should have cut them orf?

[Yes, Andrew has massively embarrassed the monarchy as well but he didn’t flounce from the UK and give interviews about how the RF let him down.]

It amazes me that so many people are so obsessed with not wanting to talk about harry and Meghan that they feel the need to constantly talk about Harry and Meggan.

dworky · 28/05/2022 21:33

Why, neither of them have committed any crime & their motivations are not nefarious because the press have decided it so.
Harry has put his young family first & I blame no woman for not wanting any part of the undeniably misogynist & most likely racist, palace structure.

You're letting Andrew off, I see. Your priorities are batshit.

User7493268965 · 28/05/2022 21:36

Banned!! It's up to the Queen surely who she invites.

Penguinevere · 28/05/2022 21:36

The Royal Family aren’t soap opera characters op.

I think history will judge the way Meghan has been treated very different to how you describe it. I think Meghan and Harry have been painted as the bad guys to take the attention off Andrew's sex offences and William's affair.

Agree with this. Andrew is a literal sex offender and people like OP still think Meghan is worse.

Giraffesandbottoms · 28/05/2022 21:38

@AlternativePerspective

but if people want to talk about Harry and Meghan, why can’t they? You’re on here commenting about it!

Sortilege · 28/05/2022 21:38

Was Andrew really at a Buck House garden party recently? I haven’t seen it reported.

Sortilege · 28/05/2022 21:40

Regardless of who is unreasonable or otherwise, I think banning people just ups the drama, OP.

SkirridHill · 28/05/2022 21:40

Chilledchablis1 · 28/05/2022 21:30

Yes she was warmly welcomed and no, I have never heard anyone make a racist comment about her . Criticising her behaviour does not equate to racism .
She has made unsubstantiated allegations .
It’s not being rude.

No she wasn't, and the fact you're prepared to pretend she was speaks volumes about you.

roarfeckingroarr · 28/05/2022 21:40

Agreed

Floralnomad · 28/05/2022 21:46

They would probably love to be banned , they could do another interview about how awful their family is . For people who didn’t like press intrusion etc they do a pretty good job of courting publicity all the time .

Giraffesandbottoms · 28/05/2022 21:47

@Sortilege

no, I was mistaken!

Giraffesandbottoms · 28/05/2022 21:47

@Floralnomad

agree

HRTQueen · 28/05/2022 21:48

The Daily Mail are already winding up their racist readers

this is what everyone should be disgusted by it’s irrelevant if you like her or not

but not be disgusted by this says an awful lot

SallyWD · 28/05/2022 21:50

Oh God, who cares? Maybe the RF were racist and unsympathetic to Megan (wouldn't surprise me in the least). The British press have been bloody awful to them them. I'm not surprised they have a chip on their shoulders. If the Queen wants them there it's nobody else's business.

Spidey66 · 28/05/2022 21:51

I'm no royalty fan, but it's her bloody party, she can invite who she wants!

TheKeatingFive · 28/05/2022 21:52

OP I don't think you get to tell the Queen who she should/shouldn't have at her jubilee. HTH.

Badger1970 · 28/05/2022 21:14

Someone who takes a Netflix crew along to a site where 19 kids died isn't someone I want to see, thanks all the same.

Ditto.
That was very off.

Hahahaa OP this is deluded. You’d rather protect a pedophile that a black woman who spoke up when she was mistreated due to her race? Shame. Meg and Harry have publicly maintained that the Queen hasn’t done anything wrong - so why can they celebrate her Jubilee? They left the RF for their own safety.

You mean a 50% white woman who made unsubstantiated claims about what her husband said someone had said? She is very good at forgetting half of her heritage when it suits her narrative.

sunflowerdaisyrose · 28/05/2022 21:58

I'm surprised they're being welcomed and think they, and Andrew, should not be at anything public.

^^This.

TheHateIsNotGood · 28/05/2022 22:00

Much as I'd love to "ban" some people, my sisters from being my sisters, the 2nd home owners next door, for example; but that's a very slippery slope....

After all, I'm sure there's a few people who'd like to ban me too.

Nope - "banning" people is for pubs and nightclubs, not for real life.

herewithmyfrog · 28/05/2022 22:00

So Andrew is not a problem?
Nor cheating Will?
But H&M are?

Pleeeease.

Crikey I didn’t know that and have just googled. I am very shocked.
